    Pastry Chef (Cake Decorator)

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Job Description
    Engaged in the preparation of desserts, pastries, confections, ice cream and other baked goods by performing the following duties:

    • Must be knowledgeable in the production of different pastries and cakes
    • Decorating regular cakes according to established standards.
    • Assisting baking staff with the production of standard bakery items.
    • Producing different kinds of icing, whipped cream, buttercream, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences.
    • Must be able to work with Fondants.
    • The candidate must be able to write on Cakes.
    • Taking inventory of baking and decorating supplies and ordering new stock as required
    • Decorating ideas for specialty cakes.
    • Designing and decorating cakes according to customers' specifications
    • Producing different kinds of icing, frosting, and cake fillings based on cake type and customer preferences.
    • Ensuring that the display refrigerators are cleaned, polished, and fully stocked with cakes, pastries, and desserts.
    • Decorates cakes and pastries Trims uneven surfaces of cakes or cuts and shapes cake to required size
    • Spreads icing between layers and on surfaces of cake Prepare and mix icing May be required to mix and bake cakes or pastries
    • Ensure right measurement and mixture of ingredient to form various pastry, confections, ice creams and other baked goods.

    Requirements

    • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree
    • Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years working experience as apastry chef in a fast food industry.
    • Candidates living on the Lagos island or environs are expected to apply

    Senior Accountant

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

    Job Description / Responsibilities

    • Analyse financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
    • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares report to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
    • Prepare federal, state, or local tax returns of individual, business establishment, or other organization: Examines accounts and records and computes taxes owed according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations.
    • Advise management regarding effects of business activities on taxes, and on strategies for minimizing tax liability.
    • Prepare Financial Statement for Management decision.
    • Day-to-day management of the Financial and Management Accounting processes.
    • Implement approved accounting processes. systems and controls for products and services.
    • Ensure all creditors’ balances are diligently & completely recorded and accounted for on a daily basis.
    • Render accurate and timely returns to appropriate statutory regulatory authorities in compliance with all applicable requirements.
    • Plan, organize and implement accounting operations and objectives, coordinate and integrate activities toward achievement of established goals and objectives.
    • Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
    • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
    • Liaising with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context;
    • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed;
    • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
    • Report to management regarding the financial health and status of the Organization.
    • Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.

    KPI:

    • To prepare & review budgets for new projects
    • To ensure that financial statements and management reports on all projects are prepared & submitted on a monthly basis
    • To ensure that all projects are correctly closed down including disposal of assets, closure of bank accounts and finalization of reports
    • To come up with yearly cost reduction models for the company
    • To maintain financial risk assessments of all projects, ensuring that key risks are identified & clear recommendations are presented to the MD
    • To manage multiple project accounts
    • To develop and deliver relevant financial training to account clerk/assistant

    Experience / Competency

    • First Degree in Accounting or other numerate discipline.
    • Minimum of five (4) years relevant experience in core accounting function with at least two (2) years supervisory experience.
    • Experience in retail and with retail management systems is a plus.
    • Compulsory Audit/Tax Management Experience
    • Strong background in account, stock management process
    • High degree of integrity confidentiality, confidence in tasks execution.
    • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and audit management tools and other accounting software.
    • Successful candidate must be chattered

    Job Summary

    • The Graphic Designers design graphics for use in media products such as magazines, labels, advertising and signage as well as on all social media platforms.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Working with Management, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
    • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and websites
    • Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
    • Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief
    • Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
    • Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed to the highest quality.

    Qualifications

    Job Description

    • Receive payment by cash, credit cards, and other types of payment platform.
    • Issuing of correct receipts to customers for items purchased.
    • Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales.
    • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
    • Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions
    • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.

    Job Description

    • Assists in maintaining of all office equipment and facilities; arrange for repairs when necessary. Make recommendations for new or additional office equipment as appropriate.

    • Ensure timely and error free execution of all planned facility repairs and maintenance, schedule and log system.
    • Ensure timely and error free execution of generator workability for business operations.
    • Ensure timely and error free furniture and fittings, office environment and company assets conditions for business operation and staff safety.
