    Roles and Responsibilities

    • The Paco/Instrumentation Support will be responsible for the following:
    • Onsite responsibility for safe supervision of technicians during work execution.
    • Ensure performance assurance and proactive health checks of the associated components of the Robertshaw Panel integrated Control, Safety Instrumented and Fire & Gas Systems.
    • Ensure periodic health checks on Human Machine Interface workstations and
    • Servers. Systems fault diagnosis and recovery. Of Allen Bradley, DeltaV, Foxboro, Solar
    • Turbine, Siemen, System one etc.
    • Access and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); Cause and
    • Effects Matrix (C&E); Process Flow Scheme (PFS); Functional Logic Diagram (FLD);
    • Instrument Loop Drawings (ILD) and Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) required for fault tracing and issues resolutions.
    • Work closely with service Contractor(s) towards safe delivery of vendor-based maintenance jobs.
    • Initiate and follow up with spares procurement towards expedited delivery for maintenance execution.
    • Ensure technical integrity of assets through Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities, quality assurance and performance standard verification of safety critical equipment.
    • Ensure field instrumentation availability and reliability towards meeting business targets on hydrocarbon processing and export operations.
    • Maintain Systems availability for the continuous operation of the facility.
    • Identifying critical spares and follow-up ordering and delivery.
    • Integrate with other disciplines to achieve Asset integrity on continuous basis.
    • Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation, and close-out.
    • Other assignments for continuous improvements as exigent.

    Work Cycle

    • The work location is a water and land-field based in West Shell Facilities accessible via water and Air.
    • The job activity period is daily on 12 hours (7am to 7pm) routine over a 21-day period.
    • There is a standard 3weeks on and 3weeks off schedule.
    • The successful candidate will manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers.
    • There may be need for periodic visits to Shell industrial area for training and official assignments.
    • Personnel may be required to work extended hours as need may arise.

    Electrical Support - Technician - (Otumara)

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Supervise the team to load the prepared information and Data in Computerized
    • Maintenance Management System (CMMS – SAP) and related Document management systems.
    • Accountable for all the data required for performance evaluation and business planning.
    • Liaise with Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) Planner and adopt restrictions for execution in the schedule and Call Preventive Maintenance (PM) work-orders on a fixed interval (e.g. once/quarter) for a fixed look-ahead (e.g. one year)
    • Request input from the Team Lead and Supervisors to develop maintenance campaign programmers and monitor compliance.
    • Responsible for achieving all departmental documents and reports in the approved company’s record system.
    • Responsible for preparing and submitting periodical performance reports for the department.
    • Liaise with the Team Lead to develop the annual business and budget plans.
    • Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize data in preparation for the generation of statistical and analytical reports and provide intelligence that supports decisionmaking.
    • Coordinate data requests with respect to pre- and post-return on planning and performance reporting, data sample for analytics, and other ad-hoc requirements.
    • Ensure the teams develop quality output meeting all necessary KPIs critical to their workload.
    • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department or work crew.
    • Support teams in developing the work scope, milestone plans & resource mobilization plan.
