    Strategy Manager

    Job Summary

    • Support the strategy development process for Foods & Agri businesses and monitor implementation of strategic initiatives
    • Support development of new businesses
    •  Identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend initiatives to close gaps

    Key duties and responsibilities
    Strategy Development & Execution:

    • Support BU management in articulating strategic aspiration and work with them to develop means of achieving the aspiration based on BU current position and resource constraints
    • Support BU management in developing execution plans for strategic initiatives, assigning owners for the initiatives, and tracking implementation and impact
    • Research and analyse macro, industry and competitive trends and communicate to the Executive Management Team

    Business Development:

    • Develop business case and investment rationale for identified opportunities
    • Support negotiation of various commercial aspects related to the new business
    • Transition to project team once investment decision has been taken
    • Monitor project implementation and help unblock bottlenecks as required

    Improvement initiatives

    • Assess past performance trends and identify root causes for under performance
    • Conduct detailed diagnostics to identify operational improvement initiatives
    • Provide short-term support to get initiatives off the ground as needed
    • Track and monitor initiative implementation

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
    • At least five years’ work experience with reputable organisations
    • At least two years strategy consulting experience with a global consulting firm (experience with a tier one consulting firm will be an added advantage)

    Business Intelligence Manager

    Job Summary

    • Manage the SAP BW project to deliver scope within time and budget
    • Drive consumption of SAP BW reports across relevant user groups
    • Prioritise Business Intelligence needs across the group and work with technical team to deliver these

    Key Duties and Responsibilities
    Project Management:

    • Manage ongoing SAP BW projects to deliver agreed scope in terms of reports and analytics
    • Provide regular progress update to internal customers and help the technical project team to overcome any bottlenecks
    • Coordinate interaction between business, technical project team, and IT department
    • Manage transition of projects into production environment

    Change Management & Support:

    • Drive consumption of developed BI reports / analytics through advocacy
    • Work with report users to identify potential discrepancies in reports and identify root cause of these discrepancies
    • Work with BU management to drive timely / accurate data entry and data clean-up to ensure integrity of BI reports
    • Collate issues (bugs, minor enhancements) from users and pass to technical team for resolution

    Requirements Gathering:

    • Work with the business to identify new BI requirements and jointly prioritise these
    • Work with users to develop detailed specification including fields, layout, calculations, validation, access, etc.
    • Interface with technical team to kick-off development of new requirements
    • Drive vendor selection process if development is to be outsourced to an external vendor

    Key Requirements
    Education and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
    • At least five years’ work experience in data management, business intelligence, or related functions
    • Technical certification in a related subject will be an added advantage
