    Investment Associate

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for an Investment Associate. The Investment Associate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, building financial models, performing due diligence, and evaluating investment opportunities.
    • The role also involves supporting the investment team in decision-making processes and preparing detailed reports and presentations.
    • The associate will work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and efficient analysis and contribute to the overall success of the firm’s investment strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • Strong Financial Modeling skills
    • Analytical Skills and experience in conducting Due Diligence
    • Expertise in Finance and Investments (VC & Private Equity)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
    • Experience in the consulting or investment industry is a plus
    • Knowledge/experience in the Tech Startup ecosystem
    • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market research
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

    Preferred:

    • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or relevant professional certification (CFA, CAIA, etc.)
    • Experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques
    • Demonstrated interest in market trends and investment strategies

    Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis
    • Experience with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, PitchBook)
    • Familiarity with portfolio management software and investment tracking tools

    Project management Associate

    Job Summary/Role Description

    • This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja for a project management associate.
    • We are seeking a highly resourceful, organized and detail oriented individual, capable of initiating, planning and managing projects in alignment with broad organizational goals and business impact.
    • The role requires strong research analytical skills, including tasks like gathering information, creating documentation, and supporting the team with report/proposal/grant writing and development of project plans. The role involves the creation of workflows, task definition and development of high-level, detailed timelines and project plans.
    • Must have the ability to multi-task, strong communication and a research driven mindset.
    • The associate will be responsible for office management operations and administrative functions
    • Work closely with senior team members to ensure accurate and efficient execution of projects and contribute to the overall success of the firm strategies

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out market research, business intelligence, (qualitative and quantitative research) on industry trends, markets, and competitors.
    • Project Planning and Execution 
    • Monitoring Project Performance: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs),
    • Document Management: Maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and other essential records.
    • Communication and Coordination: Facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders, ensuring information flows effectively.
    • Financial planning and budgeting
    • Fundraising/Grant Sourcing/proposal writing
    • Strategic partnerships /Stakeholder engagement
    • Technical support for tender and proposal preparation
    • Develop SOP’s, KPI’s, Staff Management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences,Business Administration, Economics or a related field. (Preferred; MBA)
    • Certifications: (Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus) CAPM.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years in a project management role
    • Basic understanding of project management methodologies: Capable of using Project Management ERP solution. Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall frameworks is helpful.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
    • Organizational and time management skills : experienced in administrative support and/or research analysis.
    • Proficiency in relevant project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana,Trello Microsoft Project) can be beneficial.
    • Familiar with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, or Excel advanced functions)
    • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google workspace, Canva.

    Key Competency:

    • Critical thinking and Problem solving, Digital Technology.
