Job Description

• Owing to internal reorganization, a vacancy exists for the position of Group Head, Finance. Role reports to Operations Director and will oversee the Finance function across our Countries of Operation, from the Head Office in Lagos.
• Role is responsible for the overall financial management, business analysis and reporting of the organisaiton, ensuring ongoing viability and a secure financial future in line with the organisation’s business goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team of Finance Officers and Finance Department
• Track the company's financial status (Short and long term) and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
• Holistic Management of the Capital Raising Process
• Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to Board of Directors in formal meetings
• Supervise and provide direction for budgeting, cash flow analysis/restructuring, liquidity management and company audits
• Assess and approve financial statements and reports submitted by the finance team
• Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation

Person Specification

• Qualifications: B.Sc /MBA in Accounting, Finance or other related degrees
• ACCA/ICAN or equivalent professional qualification
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of business principles and practices preferably in a service sector environment.

Experience:

• 10 years' work experience spanning varied aspects of Financial Management
• Strong communication skills, with ability to convey complex financial concepts to management or key stakeholders
• Finance-based analytical skills
• Demonstrated experience of using Microsoft office suite and finance software packages
• Previous experience of running a finance function and employee management
• Experience in charting and implementing strategic and resource plans

Offering Salary Range

• 300 000 - 350 000 monthly Net.

Enhance data integrity and availability for decision making through the collection, inputting, updating and maintenance of relevant data from various sources into the organisation’s Information Management Systems for processing and management.

Job Description

• Prepare and sort documents for data entry
• Add new data to Information Systems quickly and effectively to expand the database
• Resolve discrepancies in information and obtain necessary clarification for incomplete documents
• Create data backups as part of a contingency plan
• Maintain data confidentiality and privacy
• Report generation
