    Lead, HR (NGO/Gender-Based Violence)

    REF NO: MPCST-25

    Job Overview:

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, People, Culture & Operations is responsible for cultivating a values-driven, inclusive, & an effective work culture. This role provides strategic leadership in human resources, organisational culture, talent acquisition & retention, employee well-being, & daily operations. The Manager ensures that all internal systems align with the organization\'s values of dignity, accountability, professionalism, & empathy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead talent strategy: recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, & performance management.
    • Drive initiatives that foster organisational culture, psychological safety, & staff morale.
    • Oversee effective HR policies, labor law compliance, compensation frameworks, & exit procedures.
    • Implement practices that support diversity, equity, inclusion & opportunities across all teams.
    • Ensure smooth daily operations: asset management, facilities, vendor relationships, logistics, & technology infrastructure.
    • Supervise operations & develop staff capacity through mentorship and systems development.
    • Work closely with the Executive Director to guide organisational development & workforce planning.

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in HR Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) required.
    • 5-7 years of progressive HR and operations experience, with 3 years in leadership within a nonprofit.
    • Demonstrated experience managing conflict resolution, team development, and change management.
    • Strong interpersonal, mediation, and coaching skills.
    • Sound understanding of Nigerian labor laws, ethics, and nonprofit operations.

    Lead, Finance(NGO/Gender-Based Violence)

    Job Overview:

    Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Finance is a key member of the senior leadership team. This role provides strategic financial oversight, ensures full regulatory compliance, and builds a strong internal financial culture grounded in transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

    The Director will lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, risk management, and ensure that financial systems support effective program delivery and strategic growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and execution of the organization\'s annual budgeting process, financial strategy, & multi-year forecasting.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to donors, Board of Directors, regulatory bodies.
    • Oversee all accounting processes, audits, payroll, & statutory compliance (e.g. FIRS, CAC, PENCOM).
    • Review, develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard organisational assets.
    • Train and supervise the finance team, ensuring high performance, integrity, & consistency.
    • Collaborate with the strategy and sustainability, and people, culture and operations teams leads & directors to align budgets with implementation realities & deliverables.
    • Guide contract and grant compliance, donor reporting, & cost recovery strategies.
    • Support fundraising teams by preparing budgets for proposals & tracking fund utilisation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ICAN/ACCA certified. MBA is an asset.
    • 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a nonprofit.
    • Deep understanding of nonprofit accounting, grant compliance, & donor financial reporting (local and international).
    • Strong leadership & coaching ability with a commitment to capacity building.
    • Proven integrity, confidentiality, & ability to manage sensitive information.
    • Strong written & verbal communication, attention to detail, & analytical skills
