    Execution/Construction Coordinator

    Job description

    SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for an Execution/Construction Coordinator to join its workforce in Nigeria.

    MISSIONS: 

    • Inspect the construction site to ensure the appropriate level of quality control in all phases.
    • Identify and utilize talented people to maximize productivity and quality of work
    • To assure that every process is running according to standards, supervise and facilitate equipment and component installation
    • Adhering to both budgetary and time constraints
    • To stay on budget, monitor the material and tools spending
    • Maintain records for all construction dates and project cost
    • Coordinate with material and supply chain management to have adequate supply on the site
    •  Finding and managing contractors and sub-contractors
    •  Manage the communication with contractors and managers
    • Preparing work schedules for contractors and laborers
    • Assist the construction manager in preparing a schedule for different projects
    • Reporting on progress and challenges on the site to the manager
    • Preparation of construction progress reports from the site to be provided to the manager
    • Assist the construction manager in the closeout process and ensure appropriate filing of all paperwork
    • Assist the construction manager to provide all the safety needs
    • Learning and applying the latest construction methods and technologies
    • Participate in various training sessions
    • Participate in various project meetings and maintain records of all construction dates and project costs
    • Manage multiple construction projects at one given time and prepare construction progress reports for all projects on an everyday basis
    • Prepare various documents for all implementation of activities and ensure approval for same and assist in distributing all final documents

    Profile

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Understand and speak the local language
    • Have good project administration skills
    • Have good management skills
    • Should be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    • In-depth knowledge of materials, building codes, and regulations
    • Know the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and email software
    • Have good interpersonal and negotiation skills

    Minimum level of experience required

    • 6 years or more

    Required authorisations

    • English (C-Professional working proficiency)
    • Have good project administration skills

    PVV Senior Engineer

    Job description

    We are currently looking for a PVV Senior Engineer to support us with the Shutdown Preparation:

    Responsibilities:

    • Draftsmen to prepare schematic drawings from the red-lined P&IDs, PFDs GEA.
    • Responsible for the development of all supporting FFSD documents & work packs under the guidance of the Shutdown Coordinator
    • Developing design and specifications for piping systems. This includes determining appropriate materials, dimensions, and operations conditions to ensure structural integrity and reliability.

    Profile

    • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (A-levels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent.
    • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations.
    • Basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations.
    • Ability to advise and motivate multi-national teams,
    • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others.
    • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
