    Sales Team Lead (2-Wheeler Sales)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a performance-driven Sales Team Lead with proven experience in the 2-wheeler automobile industry to manage and drive sales operations, lead a team of field reps, and grow market share across assigned territories.
    • The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in motorcycle sales, territory expansion, and distributor/dealer relationship management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and supervise a team of sales representatives across assigned territories.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Drive sell-in and sell-out at dealer and retail levels.
    • Build strong relationships with 2W dealers, mechanics, fleet buyers, and channel partners.
    • Monitor daily sales performance and enforce discipline across field teams.
    • Conduct market mapping to identify new sales opportunities.
    • Provide coaching and performance feedback to the sales team.
    • Drive visibility, promotional campaigns, and in-store activation efforts.
    • Ensure prompt reporting and data management using CRM or field tracking tools.

    • Handle customer escalations and ensure high service standards and satisfaction.
    • Monitor competitor activity and provide regular feedback to management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related field.
    • A professional certification in Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain is an added advantage.
    • Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Must have relevant experience in 2-wheeler, auto, or motorcycle sales.
    • Strong understanding of dealer/channel management and retail market dynamics in Nigeria.
    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and growing regional market share.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
    • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a target-driven environment.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.

    Preferred Languages:

    • Fluency in English and at least one local Nigerian language spoken in the target market region (e.g., Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo).

    National Sales Manager (Engine Oil)

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a National Sales Manager with experience in the lubricants (engine oil) industry, who is also familiar with the systems, route-to-market models, and tools commonly used in FMCG.
    • The ideal candidate is not necessarily senior, but agile, execution-focused, process-driven, and highly comfortable with digital tools and reporting systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute sales operations strategies using FMCG-style models such as distributor management, B2B sales, van sales, and outlet coverage tracking.
    • Drive market penetration for lubricants/engine oils by working with existing and new dealers, mechanics, fleets, and workshops.
    • Implement and monitor sales processes, SOPs, and reporting routines across regions.
    • Set and track sales KPIs, stock movement, and outlet coverage using digital tools (Excel dashboards, CRM, Google Sheets, Power BI, etc.).
    • Work closely with the distributor network to ensure effective stock rotation, order management, and retail execution.
    • Provide field support and training to sales reps and dealer personnel on product knowledge and sales practices.
    • Generate periodic reports, including sell-in/sell-out performance, territory growth, and promotional ROI.
    • Monitor competitors and suggest data-backed interventions to increase share and presence.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field.
    • Added certifications in sales systems, data tools, or ERP/CRM platforms is a plus.

    Experience:

    • 10 - 12 years total experience in sales or trade execution.
    • Must have worked with or for a lubricant/engine oil brand in Nigeria.
    • Experience setting up or running FMCG-style distribution models is essential.

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    • Has 10 - 12 years of experience in the lubricants / engine oil industry.
    • Has worked in or been trained in an FMCG-style sales environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, and preferably Power BI or CRM tools.
    • Understands how to set up sales execution tracking systems, territory planning, and data-based decision-making.
    • Comfortable being on the field regularly and working with distributors and reps.
    • Highly process-driven, organized, and tech-savvy.
    • Excellent at reporting, presentations, and real-time performance tracking.

    Other Requirements:

    • Willing to travel extensively within Nigeria.
    • Proficient in English (local languages a bonus).
    • Must be comfortable with both office-based and field work.
