Job Description

• To implement best-practice proactive maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting, as well as enforced standards and procedures for the optimal functioning and reliability of electrical components of industrial manufacturing equipment, machinery, and production facilities; thus, minimizing processing downtime and maximizing productivity

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Maintenance or related field; OR in its absence, demonstrable intensive work experience in a relevant manufacturing/processing plant role;
• Two (2) years work experience in Electrical Maintenance and Repair operations in a manufacturing/processing plant;
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• To monitor, regulate and ensure the safe, efficient, and protected operation of electrical components of industrial manufacturing equipment, machinery, processes, and systems from a centralized, access-restricted, and/or secluded location

• Good First Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Field;
• Post Graduate qualification e.g. Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Field (OPTIONAL);
• Eight to Ten (8-10) years’ work experience in Electrical Engineering with at least three (3) years in a leadership role; (
• Proven work experience in manufacturing/processing plant supervisory role(s); (v). Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations;
• Professional membership of a Nigerian Engineering Regulatory Body (e.g. Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) or/and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)).
