    Baker/Pastry Chef

    Job Description

    • Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts.
    • Measure and mix ingredients accurately according to recipes.
    • Design and decorate cakes and pastries to a high presentation standard.
    • Monitor baking times, temperatures, and oven conditions to ensure quality.
    • Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.
    • Ensure all baked goods meet quality, taste, and appearance standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen in line with food safety regulations.
    • Manage inventory of baking supplies and order ingredients when needed.
    • Operate and maintain baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters.
    • Work closely with kitchen staff to plan production schedules and meet customer demand.
    • Must reside within the axis of Amuwo Odofin, Festac, Lagos State.
