    Kitchen Assistants

    Responsibilities

    • Clean all kitchen equipment, accessories, and workstations thoroughly before beginning daily operation.
    • Take opening stock of raw materials and update inventory records accordingly.
    • Prepare raw materials, including mixing batters, seasoning, and grilling proteins.
    • Ensure raw materials are stored appropriately and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and LILO (Last In, Last Out) methods to avoid spoilage and wastage.
    • Assist grillers when grilling or frying products according to approved recipes and instructions provided by the offline order taker.
    • Monitor and document stock levels of grilling/frying raw materials.
    • Notify the Shift Manager when stock levels fall below the pre-agreed threshold to ensure uninterrupted operations.
    • Observe food safety and hygiene practices during all stages of food preparation.
    • Maintain cleanliness in the workstation and surrounding areas to meet health and safety regulations.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance branch profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Count and double-check leftover stock at the end of the day.
    • Clean all equipment and workstations, adhering to the closing cleaning procedure.
    • Record daily activities, including stock usage, incidents, and feedback, in the designated records or portals.
    • Submit daily reports to the Sift Manager for review.

    Requirements

    • OND / HND / BSc
    • 1 - 3 years experience 
    • Ability to communicate in English

    Order Takers

    Responsibilities

    • Perform opening cleaning procedures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Open the EPOS TILL, ensuring it's ready for transactions.
    • At the end of the day, reconcile all sales and log data into the EPOS system.
    • Record all incidents on the End-of-Day notes and complete closing cleaning procedures.
    • Acknowledge every customer upon arrival with a warm welcome message.
    • Assist customers in identifying their needs and provide detailed information about products and services.
    • Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase revenue.
    • Acknowledge customers' departure with appreciation.
    • Receive orders from walk-in customers and confirm payments.
    • Log customer contact details and purchased products accurately.
    • Confirm product availability from the production unit and communicate with the online order taker as needed.
    • Handle customer complaints promptly, providing appropriate solutions or alternatives.
    • Escalate unresolved issues to the Team Captain or relevant unit.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of complaints.
    • Work closely with team members to ensure the branch's profitability.
    • Communicate effectively with other units (e.g., production, online sales) for seamless operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and sales transactions.
    • Report key activities, incidents, and sales summaries at the end of each shift.
    • Report to work punctually and maintain professionalism throughout all interactions.
