    Head of Credit and Marketting

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the bank's credit strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for new credit products and services.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, customers, and partners.
    • Oversee the entire credit approval process, ensuring compliance with the bank’s credit policy and regulatory standards.
    • Supervise the preparation of credit proposals and ensure timely and accurate appraisals.
    • Monitor loan disbursements and collections to achieve portfolio quality and minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).
    • Design and implement effective credit risk management frameworks to ensure the sustainability of the loan portfolio.
    • Conduct periodic reviews of credit policies to align with regulatory updates and market conditions.
    • Ensure the proper classification of loans and adherence to provisioning requirements as stipulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
    • Lead and develop the credit team, ensuring continuous training and capacity building.
    • Set performance targets for credit officers and monitor their achievements.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-centricity within the credit department.
    • Ensure all credit activities comply with CBN regulations, including reporting on credit risk and portfolio performance.
    • Prepare and submit accurate credit reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
    • Liaise with auditors and examiners during audits to address credit-related queries and recommendations.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an HND / OND / B.Sc Degreee with 10-20 years work experience.

    Credit Officer (Marketer)

    Responsibilities

    • Prospect and mobilize new clients for the bank’s loan products, including group and individual lending.
    • Conduct credit assessments through field visits, business analysis, and character checks.
    • Evaluate loan applications and make sound credit recommendations in line with bank policy.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation, approval, and disbursement of loans.
    • Monitor loan utilization and provide post-disbursement support to clients.
    • Track and manage loan repayments; follow up promptly on overdue accounts.
    • Maintain a quality loan portfolio and ensure portfolio-at-risk (PAR) is within acceptable limits.
    • Generate regular credit reports and participate in credit committee reviews.
    • Educate clients on loan terms, repayment schedules, and financial literacy.
    • Uphold client confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 4 years experience.

    Head of Operations

    Responsibilities
    Operational Leadership:

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and service delivery.
    • Oversee the bank’s operational processes, including account management, loan disbursement, and transaction processing.
    • Ensure the alignment of operational activities with the bank’s strategic goals.

    Process Improvement:

    • Design and implement policies and procedures to improve operational workflows and reduce turnaround time.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and digitization to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Conduct regular reviews of operational systems to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.

    Risk and Compliance Management:

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly those set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
    • Monitor and mitigate operational risks through the implementation of robust control frameworks.
    • Oversee the management of internal and external audits related to operations.

    Team Leadership:

    • Manage and develop the operations team, providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the department.
    • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operations team.

    Customer Service Excellence:

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and satisfaction.
    • Monitor service delivery channels to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
    • Handle escalated customer service issues and resolve them efficiently.

    Resource and Asset Management:

    • Oversee the management of the bank’s physical and technological assets to ensure optimal performance.
    • Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources to support operational goals.
    • Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective procurement of services and supplies.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a minimum of OND with 5 - 15 years experience.
