    Logistics & Warehouse Manager

    REPORTS TO: GM, COMMERCIAL &OPERATIONS  

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The Logistics & Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the supply chain process and systems for all shipments coming into the warehouse and ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of shipment to all relevant parties
    • Coordinating and overseeing the shipments in and out of the warehouse.
    • Take ownership of all operations, logistics and supply chain activities at the warehouse.
    • Execute logistics plan for inbound and out-bound cargoes.
    • Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing, or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and cost.
    • Develop strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
    • Maintain and manage inventory of all shipments in the warehouse accurately
    • Process orders for shipments when required and ensure to keep accurate records of all transit
    • Manage the warehouse operating system for effective stock control and record management
    • Implement safety procedures and standards in the warehouse operations.
    • Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs and request for replacements when required.
    • Responsible for interfacing and liaising with all regulatory bodies and agencies
    • Ensure compliance with all Legal and Statutory regulatory agencies including Nigerian Customs for the clearance of all shipment.
    • Assist in the automation and integration of the warehouse management system into the company’s overall financial management system. 
    • Responsible for maintaining records of Carriers, importers, and other relevant stakeholders
    • Ensures operational procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Evaluate proposals from various Forwarders, shipping lines, and partners to drive sales.
    • Develop and maintain good relationship with Customs, shipping lines, and all other authorities.
    • Supervise training and manage all other support staff working at the warehouse
    • Every other related responsibility as assigned by your supervisor

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Must have at least 10 years working experience and worked for at least 5 years as a Warehouse Manager.
    • Experience working in a Bonded Warehouse will be an added advantage,
    • Must have experience working in the Freight forwarding and Logistics Industry
    • Must have a good understanding of industry limitations and regulations
    • Must have Knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS)
    • Excellent written and Oral communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.

     EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • BSc or HND in any discipline
    • Professional qualification in Supply Chain Management will be an advantage

    Accountant

    REPORTS TO: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT   

     JOB OVERVIEW

     Responsible Majorly for all Invoicing & Receivables Management into the company system using the Accounting & Logistics Software.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for the invoicing of all completed projects using the Accounting and Logistics Software.
    • Responsible for the updating, monitoring and reconciliation of customers accounts for accurate age analysis.
    • Ensure all Customer’s payment in the bank statements are posted into the Accounting Software.
    • Ensure customers statement of account are sent out as at when due.
    • Ensure all reports are submitted timely to the Senior Accountant as at when due.
    • Any other duty as assigned

    EDUCATION

    • BSC or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any related course.
    • Part Qualification of ICAN or ACCA will be an added advantage
    • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of Sage and Quick Books accounting software a must.

    • At least 3 years’ experience in Finance and Office Administration
    • Excellent Accounting skills

    Senior Accountant

    REPORTS TO: CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER      

     JOB OVERVIEW

    Responsible for general accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of accounting information and records.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Responsible for monitoring and managing all accounting processes for effective business operations.
    • Set up processes, policies and procedures that will guide all company operations across board as well as manage the processes to ensure adequate implementation.
    • Work closely with the CFO to define, establish and communicate corporate accounting principles, including standard operating procedures covering each job function in accounts to guide the entire organization including up-country
    • Ensure that accounting processes identified and set up are adequately implemented in the area of credit control, payables, receivables and cash management.
    • Coordinate and conduct monthly account reconciliation and audit and report same to the CFO
    • Supervises all VAT Transactions and periodic Withholding Taxes and submit report on same to the CFO.
    • Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial statement and provide report on this to management.
    • Supervise all data entry processes as well as manage/ monitor cash disbursement
    • Training and coaching of subordinates to ensure that each of them is fully engaged and optimized.
    • Ensure full utilization of the SAGE/ ERP Evolution in managing all account information system and reporting.

    EDUCATION

    • BSC or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics or any related course.
    • Professional membership of ICAN or ACCA is a must.
    • Masters degree in Accounting, Economics Business admin will be an added advantage

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • At least 7 years industry experience

    Business Development Manager

    JOB SUMMARY:

     Candidate must continue to develop strategies to create awareness for the company services as well as win business to increase sales revenue

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    Candidate must have at least Seven (7) years’ relevant experience, At least four years (4) of which must be spent within the Shipping & Logistics Industry. A good knowledge of Freight forwarding will be an added advantage.

    Candidate must be able to perform the following:

    • Identify partnerships and opportunities targeted at developing sales from  Oil and Gas Companies, EPC, EPIC and FMCGs companies
    • Gather intelligence for the preparation of reports, presentations and tenders that will win the company contracts in on going and upcoming projects.
    • Gather market and customer information and network with major players in the Oil and Gas Industry and the decision makers and provide feedback on industry trends.
    • Develop strategies and budgetary requirement forecasts to grow sales and profit targets for existing and new clients.
    • Develop field sales action plans for improved sales performance, identifying marketing opportunities, market requirements, and build customer database based on company’s client’s market niche.
    • Manage key accounts to meet/exceed targets relating to revenue growth activities, profit margin, sales, customer retention and customer acquisition, generates key account performance report weekly.
    • Regularly visit assigned existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
    • Responding to customer needs: exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities, developing client-specific interphases for continuity and managing sales process from opportunity identification to winning business.
    • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, services, rates or pricing strategies, clientele and market share. Using this highlight to promote the company market share by recommending competitive selling prices
    • Keep abreast of competitor’s activity, evaluating key competitor’s strength and weakness and recommending any necessary tactical action monthly
    • Develop and maintains profitable relationship with all customers and with all stakeholders and promptly resolving ALL customer-service problems
    • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly time-phased reports on achievement and activities for management information and generate progress report on sales and business volume targets from the sales data and trends.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

    Candidate must have graduated with not less than a 2:2 in Business Development/ Marketing or any other related discipline from a reputable higher institution and/or professional qualification.

    SKILLS REQUIRED: Ideal candidate must have:

    • Good business sense
    • A deep understanding of marketing principles
    • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry, EPC and EPIC Companied
    • Must have achieved obvious results in sales and business development with evidence of continuous growth.
    • Good communications skills and must be able to speak with a diverse range of prospective clients- varying in size, industry and business model.
