    Value Chain Analyst

    Job Description

    • The Value Chain Officer is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and strengthening of value chain activities to improve productivity, market access, and profitability for stakeholders. 
    • The role involves engaging with producers, processors, buyers, and other actors to identify opportunities, address challenges, and enhance value chain performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the implementation of value chain development initiatives and projects.
    • Build and maintain relationships with value chain actors and partners.
    • Conduct market assessments and identify business opportunities.
    • Facilitate linkages between producers, suppliers, processors, and buyers.
    • Monitor value chain activities and prepare progress reports.
    • Provide technical support and capacity-building to stakeholders.
    • Collect, analyze, and report data on value chain performance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in any discipline (minimum of 2:2 or lower credit)
    • Relevant experience in value chain development, agribusiness, or market systems.
    • Must not be older than 29 years old
    • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
