The Value Chain Officer is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and strengthening of value chain activities to improve productivity, market access, and profitability for stakeholders.
The role involves engaging with producers, processors, buyers, and other actors to identify opportunities, address challenges, and enhance value chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of value chain development initiatives and projects.
Build and maintain relationships with value chain actors and partners.
Conduct market assessments and identify business opportunities.
Facilitate linkages between producers, suppliers, processors, and buyers.
Monitor value chain activities and prepare progress reports.
Provide technical support and capacity-building to stakeholders.
Collect, analyze, and report data on value chain performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or HND in any discipline (minimum of 2:2 or lower credit)
Relevant experience in value chain development, agribusiness, or market systems.
Must not be older than 29 years old
Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
