    Internal Control Manager

    Job Description

    • Ensure the accurate reconciliation of cash and product overages and shortages and reporting the relevant staff deductions to the HR dept.
    • Ensure accurate completion of the Banking Details Report submitted by outlet managers, on a daily basis (including appropriate comments given for all variances)
    • Ensure the proper investigation and reporting of inventory, sales, raw material and product variances.
    • Ensure that the company’s ordering, receiving and delivery standards and procedures are properly followed.
    • Ensure proper audit of reported outlet sales report to source documents.
    • Responsible for ensuring that deposits are made in line with the “Cash handling policy”.
    • Ensure that the company’s ordering, receiving and delivery standards and procedures are properly followed.
    • Review and verification of Food Cost Reports to ensure accuracy & integrity of the report.
    • Ensure that all exception reports are submitted to senior management within the given deadlines.

    • Participate & supervise the stock take for outlets and the central store to ensure that stock reports are accurate and stock report gets to the accounts department.
    • Periodic review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s internal control processes to ensure reliability and integrity of financial and management information and proper safeguarding of assets.
    • Provide recommendations to management on controls as well as take responsibility for overseeing its implementation to reduce wastage and ensure a fraud free environment.
    • Reporting findings to senior management on any issues relating to compliance/internal controls.
    • Responsible for reporting ALL observed violations of company standards or policies to the HR dept and Senior Management.
    • All other functions related to achieving a proper & effective internal control system in the company.

    Skills & Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal audit supervisory/ managerial role.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Extensive experience in auditing experience in multi-site restaurant operations.
    • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
    • Excellent data analytics skills
    • Knowledge of SAGE, SAP or any similar accounting software
    • Must have excellent knowledge of MS Excel skills required
    • ACCA or ICAN qualification is mandatory.

    Store Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure accurate record keeping and complete documentation to confirm stock levels and maintain proper inventory control.
    • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to audit & compliance/ accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
    • Ensure that all materials received into the store meet the approved standards and specifications given by the company (e.g. size, quality, brand, expiration date etc)
    • Ensure that requisitions are placed in a timely manner with procurement in line with given re-order levels to avoid stocking-out.
    • Ensure compliance with given standards with regards to issuing of materials to outlets and central production.
    • Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance of central production to given portioning standards (where applicable).
    • Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing and labeling supplies.
    • Regular review of the store operation throughout the work process and at completion, including the daily “circle check” to ensure that all products are stored safely.
    • Ensure proper storage and disposal of expired products in line with given standards
    • Ensure the store adheres to FIFO inventory management system.
    • Notify management of any inventory or supply related problems.
    • Ensure all supplies when received are properly and safely stored in accordance with best practice and HACCP standards.
    • Follow all relevant operational procedures and to ensure that store activities are carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
    • Apply a physical classification system to items of similar nature, ensuring they are stored in pre-designated locations for ease of access and optimization of time and effort in material handling.
    • Maintain a filing system that ensures Goods Issuedand other documents are preserved and easily retrieved.

    • Ensure the proper placement materials or items on racks, shelves, in accordance with HACCCP standards

    Audit and Compliance Manager (Restaurant)

    Job Description

    Restaurant Supervisor

    Summary of Positio

    • Overall responsibility for directing and managing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team building, training of team members, internal controls, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist the restaurant managers in areas as below:
    • Understand completely all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures in line with given guidelines.
    • Ensure staff compliance with the company policies, standards and procedures.
    • Ensure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, professional and courteous service at all times.
    • Ensure that the company’s mission and values are understood, embraced and complied with by all staff.
    • Responsible for the induction, training, development and coaching of all team members in accordance with the laid down standards and training schedule
    • Responsible for overall business performance of the restaurant through efficient operations, effective cost controls, scheduling labour, inventory and profit management

    • Controls profit & loss, by following cash handling policy, internal control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing food and labour costs, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions

    • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment, fitting and facilities and ensures prompt repair in the event of any fault or breakdown.

    • Responsible for minimizing wastage by ensuring the efficient use of resources (e.g. packaging, stationery, disposables, etc).
