    Risk Officer

    Job Summary

    The Enterprise Risk Officer will provide oversight to the Enterprise-wide risk management (ERM) strategy and framework that effectively translates the risk appetite framework into informed decision-making practices that support Norrenberger’s unique business model and strategic plan. He or she will bring strong technical expertise coupled with leadership and excellent stakeholder skills.

    Job Details

    • Provide support in the implementation of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Framework, Operational Risk Framework, Reputational Risk Framework, etc.
    • Review the above Frameworks as at when required and develop new risk frameworks to address emerging risk issues.
    • Provide risk advisory services to various departments in the effective management of risks arising from the Bank's policies, activities, and initiatives.
    • Participate in the identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring and reporting of risks across the organization
    • Participate in the periodic review of the company’s Investment Policy, Assets and Liability Management Policy (ALM) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
    • Conduct periodic stress test on various risk metrics and indicators and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate the observed vulnerabilities.
    • Prepare ERMC and ALCO reports.
    • Ensure that agreed resolutions from the ERMC and ALCO meetings are implemented.

    Requirements

    • 5 – 7 years’ Risk Management experience in the financial services industry
    • Professional certification such as RIMAN, ICAN, etc. is an added advantage.

    Chief Executive Officer- Norrenberger Entrepreneurship Fund

    Job Summary

    As Chief Executive Officer of the Norrenberger Entrepreneurship Fund (nef), you will champion the execution of the Fund’s vision, strategic planning, financial management, fundraising and grant making operations that support the overall objective of the Entrepreneurship Fund.

    Job Details

     

    • Mission Stewardship: Work with the board and staff to define the Fund’s mission, communicate it effectively within the organization, and ensure that it serves continuously as an inspiration and guide.
    • Board Relations: Work with the board to ensure that it is properly constituted and trained to conduct effective governance.
    • Values and Ethical Standards Management: Work with the board and staff to ensure adoption of and adherence to appropriate values and ethical standards in all foundation business.
    • Develop an annual fundraising plan to support the Fund’s strategic plan and program improvement objectives.
    • Support the implementation of private fundraising at NEF in coordination with the Fund’s Board, industry partners, and corporate, foundation and government entities.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fund including overseeing grant administration and operations and ensure compliance with all policies as well as legal and contractual obligations.
    • Oversee budgeting, Investments, and annual financial audits required for the healthy operation of the Fund.
    • Develops, recommends, and administers policies, procedures and processes in support of Foundation goals and operations, in accordance with relevant legal parameters, and implements and monitors compliance with approved policies, procedures and processes.
    • Work with the Board and investment advisors to ensure that the Fund's investments and financial management are effective and appropriately aligned with the Fund's vision and mission.
    • Lead the Board in its strategic planning and establishes objectives based on goals and budget considerations agreed upon by the Board.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience, with at least five (5) years’ experience in a grant-making foundation/non-profit
    • Familiarity with Nigeria’s non-profit landscape
    • Experience in an International NGO is advantageous.
    • A history of strong collaboration, leading and championing strategic partnerships.
    • Good track record leading and building high performing teams.
    • Masters’ degree in a Finance related field.
