    Our company is looking for a Business Development Associate to drive our MPG Club & Events membership through digital banners, graphic designs, discount offers, event planning and marketing items selection; drive our MPG Human Resource/Recruitment arm with professional/ technical skills and knowledge in handling employment resumes, employment job-posting, recruitment, integration links, profile resume pairing, technical software knowledge and sales targets; and drive sales/awareness of MPG University Training Courses, Custom Course Research and Partnership Courses to target market. Candidate must have understanding in White Labeling Construction, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing Safety.

    The role requires building and managing relationships with existing customers as well as generating new leads, and we're looking for a self-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative.

    Procurement Specialist

    Procurement specialist must have deep knowledge of the procurement/ purchasing process across several industries (oil and gas is important). Procurement specialist must be able to maximize and promote MPG in organizations.

    Job Summary:

    The Contracts/Procurement Specialist will prepare, review, negotiate, and administer contracts and purchase orders.
    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
    • Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes.
    • Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
    • Work with finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting.
    • Assist Vendor Manager in vendor selection, management and performance.
    • Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business.
    • Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for spend.
    • Create documentations necessary for the acquisition of materials and services.
    • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice.
    • Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays on a daily basis to the Business Manager.
    • Maintain positive working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
    • Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends.
    • Reviews cost proposals and pricing information.
    • Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors.
    • Compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded.
    • Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
    • Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
    • Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
    • Maintains database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s).
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent administrative skills.
    • Excellent written and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.

    Virtual Customer Service Representative

    MPG Partnering is looking for a virtual Customer Service Representative.

    You will professionally and courteously handle inbound customer service and outbound calls in compliance with client policies and directives

    You will respond to customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail and/or chats to provide inquiry or problem resolution.

    You will resolve mostly routine and some non-routine, more complex problems and communicate the solutions or requested information to the customer.

    You will analyze a customer's service needs and refer to other service or technical departments for follow up as needed.

    You must be ready to quickly learn and understand industry and company specific language terms as well as policy terms.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Support customer base by answering questions, concerns, account inquiries as well as handling customer complaints.
    • Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other departments when necessary.
    • Maintain company and client confidentiality 
    • Multi-task by adjusting from one type of call to another without loss of efficiency, composure, or knowledge.
    • Completes assigned work in areas of processing orders, credits, returns and other order related functions via all applicable channels for both standard and expedited orders
    • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of MPG’s products and services
    • Utilizes company policies and procedures while providing world class customer service
    • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement
    • Researches, tracks, and provides problem resolution relating to freight, carrier or other issues and communicates to the appropriate internal or external customer
    • Determines corrective course of action in problem situations, balancing customer satisfaction, and financial costs
    • Properly escalates problem situations that may impact customer satisfaction and/or revenue
    • Works with distribution centers and carriers to meet schedule delivery requirements
    • Brings forth best practices ideas and process improvements (supports automation initiatives)
    • Performs other duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications 

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required2 years professional experience

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor Degree
    • At least 6 months of contact center experience
    • English fluency for reading, writing and speaking
    • Strong computer navigation skills, ability to work in multiple applications simultaneously
    • Capability of listening and typing to appropriately address the customer’s need
    • Composure: Ability to work in high-pressure situations and deals with conflict effectively
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written mediums
    • Strong customer focus skills (listening, empathy, solution-focused)
    • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions via critical thinking
    • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency and drive for results
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule or extra hours due to business demands 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Outlook)
    • SAP experience

    • Responsible for job pairing and sales of courses for organizations.
    • Candidate should be able to market MPG employment and MPG University to organizations

    Objectives of this Role

    • Promote MPG employment by sourcing recruites for companies.
    • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
    • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
    • Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
    • Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
    • Stay active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.

    Daily and Weekly Responsibilities

    • Work and form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications
    • Develop and release job postings on a platforms, such as social media and job boards
    • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
    • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
    • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
    • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
    • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
    • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
    • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
    • Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from prepping before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation
    • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired and fired employees, and other candidate relationships
    • Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database
    • Provide coaching and guidance to more junior level recruiting staff.

    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
