    Batching Plant Operator

    Job Summary

    • The Batching Plant Operator operates and monitors the batching plant to produce concrete and / or asphalt mixes to approved mix designs, ensuring accurate proportioning, calibration and quality control of output across Jamub Group's project sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate the batching plant to produce concrete/asphalt mixes per approved mix designs, ensuring accurate proportioning of materials.
    • Calibrate plant equipment on schedule and conduct quality checks on batching output.
    • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the batching plant, and maintain accurate plant logs and production records.
    • Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer / HSE Officer.

    Junior Quantity Surveyor - Benue

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in taking site measurements and preparing preliminary bills of quantities for ongoing works.
    • Track and record materials received, used, and remaining on site against approved schedules.
    • Support preparation of interim valuations and monthly work-done certificates for onward review by Head Office.
    • Maintain accurate site records of labour output, material usage, and subcontractor works for cost tracking.
    • Assist in verifying subcontractor and supplier invoices against site records prior to Head Office review.
    • Support the Project Manager and site team with day-to-day cost-related documentation and site diaries.
    • Compile and forward weekly/monthly site QS reports and updates to Head Office as required.
    • Assist with variation tracking, change order documentation, and basic cost comparisons on site.
    • Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all QS-related documents, drawings, and site records.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned by Head Office or the Project Manager.

    Heavy-Duty Construction Machine Operator

    Job Summary

    • The Heavy-Duty Construction Machine Operator safely and competently operates heavy-duty construction machinery including excavators, graders, bulldozers, rollers and loaders for assigned works across Jamub Group's project sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate assigned heavy-duty equipment for excavation, grading, loading, compaction and related site works per instructions from the Site Engineer/Foreman.
    • Conduct daily pre-use inspections, report faults promptly, and carry out basic routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
    • Operate machinery efficiently to meet daily output targets while minimising fuel and resource wastage.
    • Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer/HSE Officer.

    Summary

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare road surfaces and apply tack coat evenly ahead of asphalt paving.
    • Support asphalt paving and rolling operations to achieve specified thickness, density and surface finish.
    • Coordinate with paver/roller operators and the batching plant on mix delivery timing to avoid cold joints and delays.
    • Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer/HSE Officer.

    Summary

    • The Mason is responsible for block-laying, plastering, concrete finishing and related masonry works across Jamub Group's construction sites, ensuring correct mix ratios, alignment and curing practices are maintained to specification.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lay blocks/bricks per approved drawings, ensuring correct alignment, plumb, level and bonding.
    • Apply plaster, render and screed finishes to walls and floors to achieve a smooth, true and durable finish.
    • Prepare mortar and concrete mixes to correct ratios and ensure proper curing of completed masonry works.
    • Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer/HSE Officer.

    Road & Civil Construction Works Operative

    Responsibilties

    • Prepare and construct subgrade, sub-base and base course layers to design levels, gradients and compaction standards.
    • Construct kerbs, culverts, drains and other road drainage structures per approved drawings and specifications.
    • Assist with setting-out, use correct materials and mix ratios, and maintain accurate records of work completed.
