Summary
- The Asphalting Operative supports asphalt-laying operations including surface preparation, tack-coat application, paving and rolling to achieve specified thickness, density and surface finish on Jamub Group's road projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare road surfaces and apply tack coat evenly ahead of asphalt paving.
- Support asphalt paving and rolling operations to achieve specified thickness, density and surface finish.
- Coordinate with paver/roller operators and the batching plant on mix delivery timing to avoid cold joints and delays.
- Comply with all HSE protocols, wear required PPE at all times, participate in toolbox talks, and report hazards, near-misses or incidents promptly to the Site Engineer/HSE Officer.
