Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, which may include administering medication, performing procedures, and monitoring patient status in accordance with approved nursing practice
• Provide pre and post-operative care to patients
• Provides appropriate counsel and education to patient/family regarding disease process and symptom management
• Educate patients and their families on the care and home treatment of eye disorders and diseases
• Maintains medical records requiring appropriate and timely recording of patient information
• Consults with Doctors as required to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assists with examinations, procedures, prescription refills, and other processes related to patient care
• Actively share ideas in a constructive and positive manner by listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others
• Keep commitments and keep direct supervisor informed of work progress, timetables, and issues
• Advocate and assist in maintaining a clean, neat, and cheerful environment where patients feel comfortable
• Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations
• Protects confidentiality of patient's Personal Health Information
• Utilizes time and resources effectively to promote quality and cost outcomes
• Assures accuracy of patient charges and directs patients appropriately with billing-related issues or pre-certification needs.
• Follows work attendance policies; maintains consistent attendance with no unexcused absence
• Maintains an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policies
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Ophthalmic Nurse or interest in the field
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Membership in a professional nursing organization desired
• Substantial knowledge of basic eye care and ophthalmic nursing procedures
• Demonstrates leadership qualities
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to explain procedures and treatments to patients.
• Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs
• Patient-focused approach
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible, team player, and critical thinker

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough routine eye inspections including visual acuity measurement, refractions, Eye pressure measurement and so on.
• Identify patient’s visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination.
• Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness.
• Promote eye health by teaching patients about proper eye care techniques.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
• Contact lens fitting and Focimeter use.
• Take detailed medical histories for all patients, including current and past prescription medications
• Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery for example, examining a patient’s eyes the day after surgery.
• Clearly document diagnosis and treatment plan, including referrals, therapeutic prescriptions and long-term medical management, in patients’ charts.
• Maintain communication with Nurses and support staff in order to optimize quality clinical care and service
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree.
• 1 - 2 years work experience.
• Current license to operate.
• Demonstrates leadership qualities.
• Able to work under stressful situation.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Participate in the implementation of patient education, clinical support and community outreach programs.
• Must be able to evaluate the results of a variety of diagnostic tests and decide on the best course of treatment for a patient.
• Must be able to clearly explain eye care instructions to their patients, as well as answer patients’ questions.
• Customer service oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders, conditions, and treatment.

• Our client is currently looking for a Managing Director to help drive the growth of their newly launched digital bank offering. You will control and oversee all business operations, people and ventures and have full responsibility for the overall success of the organisation.

• Candidates should possess a Master's Degree qualification.
• Minimum of 25 years of extensive experience in a well-structured Bank/Financial Institution, 10 years of which must have been in a Senior Management capacity.
• Ideally have previous experience in a fintech organisation or worked in the digital team of a commercial bank.
