    Rig Superintendent

    Job Description:

    • Supervise all rig site activities including drilling, well completion, and workover operations.
    • Ensure full compliance with the drilling program, including casing, mud, cementing, and logging activities.
    • Manage rig crews and service company personnel to maintain high standards of productivity and safety.
    • Lead daily operations meetings and safety briefings.
    • Promote and enforce adherence to HSE policies, standards, and procedures.
    • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits on site
    • Ensure all rig equipment is maintained, inspected, and operated within safety and technical specifications.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and third-party contractors to address equipment issues.

    Requirements:

    • BSc or HND in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum of 12 years upstream drilling experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
    • Strong background in drilling operations on land and/or offshore rigs.
    • Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control certification.
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-risk environments

    Rig Electrician

    • Inspect, maintain, and repair rig electrical systems including power generation and distribution, lighting, motors, panels, and control systems.
    • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on rig generators, SCR systems, switchgear, transformers, and drilling control systems.
    • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.
    • Conduct risk assessments and follow proper lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance tasks.
    • Support rig-up and rig-down activities by ensuring proper connection and disconnection of electrical systems.
    • Collaborate with rig mechanics and technicians during integrated maintenance activities
    • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage.

    Requirements:

    • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
    • Valid Electrical License or Certification (if applicable in operating region).
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an oil & gas rig environment.
    • Solid understanding of rig electrical systems (AC/DC, PLCs, VFDs, motors, lighting, etc.).
    • Experience with safety standards such as ATEX, IECEx, or NEC is an added advantage.

    Chief Mechanic

    Job Description:

    • Oversee the inspection, servicing, and repair of rig mechanical systems including engines, pumps, compressors, mud systems, rotary tables, top drives, draw works, and HVAC.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment.
    • Supervise and coordinate activities of rig mechanics and technical crew.
    • Assign maintenance tasks, monitor performance, and ensure proper execution of mechanical operations.
    • Ensure all mechanical work complies with company HSE policies, regulatory standards, and OEM specifications.
    • Conduct and participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical spare parts and mechanical tools.
    • Raise requisitions for spare parts in a timely manner to avoid operational disruptions.

    Requirements:

    • Technical Diploma or Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
    • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in rig mechanical maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of drilling rig components and diesel-powered mechanical systems.
    • Familiarity with OEM standards for Caterpillar engines, National Oilwell Varco (NOV) equipment, and similar systems.
    • Offshore survival and safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, HUET) for offshore roles

    LLI Procurement and General Services

    • Identify potential bidders for goods and/or services required and Assist in the preparation of adverts, pre-qualification questionnaires, technical and commercial evaluation reports.
    • Execute vendor prequalification, develop, and maintain a database of prequalified vendors for related goods and/or services.
    • Collate and compilation of all tender documentation after receipt of approval. Prepare and undertake tender commercial evaluations post-receipt of tenders, draft and coordinate formal award recommendations and present to senior management.
    • Prepare and coordinate all Invitation to Bid exercises in line with Company’s contract terms and conditions.
    • Maintain and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders to secure cost-effective contractual terms.
    • Draft appropriate contractual and commercial terms and conditions using Company’s approved template to best serve and protect Company's interests
    • Liaise with various stakeholders including legal, insurance, finance, health safety and environment and technical units as required.

    Requirements:

    • Possess 8 - 10 years of proven experience in contract management with relevant oil and gas industry experience(Preferably in  LLI procurement and General Services operations)
    • Possess professional qualification in Procurement, Surveying or other relevant profession.
    • Relevant engineering / technical / legal qualification
    • Possess competency with contract preparation, negotiation, tendering and award procedures.
    • Demonstrable general knowledge & understanding of commercial, legal and insurance issues affecting the Company in general, & "in depth" understanding where relevant to contracts for works, goods & services.
