    Workshop Maintenance Planner - Golden Transport Division

    PURPOSE ​

    The role will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating all maintenance activities for the Diesel and CNG Trucks in the workshop to help minimize truck downtime, optimize workshop productivity and ensure regulatory compliance to safety.

    THE JOB

    • Develop and maintain schedules for Trucks and equipment to serve the purpose of 10x10 strategy to improve Workshop efficiency (10 trucks in the workshop and meantime repair of 10 days).
    • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks with the team on each category of Trucks.
    • Create and manage work orders, availability of spare parts, tools and manpower for maintenance management system on scheduled jobs.
    • Monitor equipment performance with approved budget and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Liaise with the WSM to submit the annual CAPEX for Workshop.
    • Ensure proper interface/handshake between Fleet Operations, Workshop and 3rd Party employees assigned to task for efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate records of service history, inspections and compliance documentation for Workshop

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Possess strong technical knowledge of Diesel and CNG truck systems.
    • Understand preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance practices.
    • Be able to create, schedule, and manage maintenance plans effectively.
    • Be proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
    • Have strong analytical skills to monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.

    QUALIFICATION

    • HND or BSC in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related field.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in fleet maintenance planning or workshop operations, preferably in Diesel or CNG truck environments.

    Tyre Specialist, Golden Transport Division

    Responsible for overseeing all tyre-related operations, including inspection, fitting, balancing, rotation, alignment, and maintenance for vehicles or heavy equipment. The role ensures tyre performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness through effective management of tyre inventory, maintenance programs, and team supervision.

    THE JOB

    • Ensure proper knowledge on tyre rethreading.
    • Ensure proper balancing, alignment, and rotation schedules are maintained.
    • Monitor tyre pressures, tread depth, and wear patterns to identify irregularities.
    • Develop and implement tyre life cycle programme
    • Ensure optimal tyre-selection.
    • Plan tyre rotation and replacement to maximize lifespan and minimize costs.
    • Ensure professional drivers training and handling of tyre.
    • Ensure proper scrap analysis of tyre.
    • Track tyre-related costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Ensure tyre disposal follows environmental and company guidelines.

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Possess strong technical expertise in tyre inspection, fitting, removal, repair, retreading, and maintenance.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in wheel alignment, balancing, and tyre rotation for heavy-duty and commercial vehicles.
    • Have the ability to analyse tyre wear patterns, diagnose failures, and recommend corrective actions.
    • Be skilled in tyre lifecycle management, including forecasting, usage monitoring, and cost-per-kilometer analysis.

    QUALIFICATION

    • HND or BSc in a relevant field, or an equivalent professional certification in tyre technology/mechanics.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 3–5 years hands-on experience in tyre operations for commercial fleets or heavy-duty vehicles.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory or senior technical role within tyre or fleet maintenance operations.
