The Position

• The Director of Physical Planning shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration and coordination of all physical facilities in the University.
• He/She shall be required to provide both professional and administrative leadership to members of staff in the Directorate.

Requirements for the Candidate

• The Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Town/Urban and Regional Planning or Estate Management with at least fifteen (15) years relevant post-qualification experience in an institution of higher learning.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies such as ARCON, CORBON etc is mandatory.
• The candidate should not be below the rank of Deputy Director or its equivalent in a reputable University or comparable Institution.

The Candidate applying for the above position should:

• Have and show a demonstrable evidence of management and leadership;
• Should not be more than sixty (60) years upon appointment;
• Be computer savvy with understanding of digital communication; and
• Be in excellent physical and mental health.

Terms and Conditions of Service Applicable to the Position

• The successful applicant shall hold the position for a single term of five (5) years on such conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.
• The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the position of the Director of Physical Planning in all Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeria/Governing Council of the University.

The Position

• He/She shall be required to provide both professional and administrative leadership to members of staff in the Directorate.

Requirements for the Candidate

• The Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, Building, Quantity Surveying, Town/Urban and Regional Planning or Estate Management with at least fifteen (15) years relevant post-qualification experience in an institution of higher learning.
• Membership of COREN is mandatory.
• The candidate should not be below the rank of Deputy Director or its equivalent in a University or comparable Institution.

The Position

• The University Librarian shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration of the University Library and coordination of all library services in the University as an Academic staff.
• He/She shall be required to provide both academic and administrative leadership to members of staff in the University Library.

Requirements

• The candidate must possess Postgraduate Degree(s) with PhD in Library Science or its equivalent with at least fifteen (15) years relevant post-qualification experience in an institution of higher learning.
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is mandatory.
• The candidate should not be below the rank of Reader Librarian/Deputy Librarian or its equivalent with vast experience in Library activities in a reputable University.

The Candidate applying for the above position should:

• Have and show a demonstrable evidence of management and leadership
• Should not be more than sixty-five (65) years upon appointment;
• Be focused, innovative, computer savvy with understanding of digital communication by internet; and
• Be in excellent physical and mental health.

• The successful applicant shall hold the position for a single term of five (5) years on such conditions as may be specified in the letter of appointment.
• The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the position of the University Librarian in all Federal Universities in Nigeria and as may be determined from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeria/Governing Council of the University.

The Position

• The Director, University Health Services shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration and coordination of all medical services in the University.
• He/She shall be required to provide both professional and administrative leadership to members of staff in the University Medical Centre.

Qualifications

• Possession of MBBS/MBCH from a recognized University, with evidence of permanent registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and evidence of current practising licence.
• Evidence of completion of mandatory housemanship/internship as a Medical Doctor from a recognised tertiary medical institution.
• Must have at least twelve (12) years post-qualifications experience.
• Possession of Higher Degree in the medical related field with fellowship of Nigerian Postgraduate Medical College or its equivalent is compulsory.
• Evidence of administrative skill/position in a University is an added advantage.
