    Senior Officer, Liability Generation

    JOB OVERVIEW:
    The Senior Officer is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring availability of funds in the pool for Asset Creation as and when required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for driving the increase of deposit investments for the company.
    • Maintenance of Liability pool of the organization.
    • Assist with developing strategies to increase Liability pool of the organization.
    • Support the firm in identifying and securing new growth opportunities.
    • Responsible for alternative business strategies to address changing market opportunities.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 6 years solid experience in Liability Generation (i.e. Deposit Mobilization) with Non-Bank Financial institutions, Microfinance banks etc.
    • First Degree in any discipline.

    Head, Finance & Accounts

    Details:

    JOB OVERVIEW:
    The Head, Finance & Accounts is responsible for overall financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation of the company.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Leads the company’s financial accounting, reporting and control activities; ensuring they are carried out efficiently and line with best practice and statutory requirements
    • To provide accurate and timely financial services including setting monthly budgets, forecasts, cash flow analysis, management and financial accounts and advice support inform decision making at all level.
    • To manage the annual audit process in conjunction with the appointed external auditors to ensure statutory accounts are produced within the required timelines.
    • Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions, minimizing the impact of the variances
    • Coordinates and ensures regular ALCO Meetings and following up on matters arising from such meetings.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Ensure timely preparation and rendition of Audited Financial Statements (AFS) and the timely filing of the AFS with the relevant statutory agencies.
    • Responsible for month-end and year-end accounting period close of process and monthly trial balance review to ensure integrity and correctness of the company’s accounting records.
    • Coordinates the preparation and renditions of statutory returns and compliance within the statutory provisions.
    • Ensures Quality Control over financial transactions and financial reporting by ensuring timely trial balance review, preparation of schedules to accounts and bank reconciliation reports
    •  Develops annual operating budgets as well as all project budgets and oversees them.
    •  Manage and comply with Local, State and Federal Government statutory requirements and tax filings.
    •  Perform other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, laws and best practices.
    • Professional membership of ICAN, ACCA etc.
    • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
    • B.Sc. /BA Accounting, Finance and related courses.
    • I.T Proficiency.
    • M.Sc./MBA is a plus

    Channel Manager

    The Channel Manager monitors the establishment, maintenance, and expansion of relationships within the Asset Creation sales channels.

    The Channel Manager ensures achievement of profitability on the entire range of company’s Asset creation products/services and maximizing revenue opportunities with channel partners.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implementing channel marketing plans.
    • Monthly reporting on achievement of sales KPI’s within sales Channels.
    • Driving the RSE teams towards meeting set targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of strategic objectives in the channels.
    • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates RSEs & Chanel partners’ needs on an ongoing basis to increase performance and drive results.
    • Works with Client Experience team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of arising issues.
    • Managing potential channel conflict with channel partners within the channels; by fostering excellent communication internally and externally and ensuring strict adherence to organizational sales policies.
    • Proactively recruiting new qualifying RSEs (as required) and overseeing the on-boarding process.
    • Establishes productive & professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
    • Complete required training and development programs for both RSEs and channel partners as required.
    • Identifies, develops, and implements process improvements towards improving customer satisfaction, improving sales efficiency, etc.
    • Work closely with the strategy and marketing department to ensure consistency in the look and structure of sales collateral materials, packages and proposals etc.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum five years of channel sales experience in a Business to-Business & Business-to-Consumer Sales environment.
    • Previous experience of driving channel sales ideally within the Financial Services industry.
    • Knowledge of financial products, financial and credit risk analysis.
    • First Degree in any discipline.
    • Availability to travel from time to time.
    • I.T proficiency.
    • Excellent Data management skills.

    BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

    •   Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
    •   Strong personal network within the industry.
    •   Highly driven and passionate about sales.

    Liability Generation Officer

    JOB OVERVIEW:

    The Liability Generation officer is a member of our Liability Generation department. He/she sources for funds for placement in our Treasury products and services at competitive rates from high net worth individuals, corporate Investors as well as blue-chip organizations.
