    Procurement Officer

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for managing purchasing activities and establishing supplier contracts. It involves sourcing high-quality, cost-effective supplies, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
    • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, thorough, and possess strong knowledge of supply chain management processes, contributing to efficient production operations and cost optimization.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary liaison between internal departments and customers, coordinating procurement, delivery, and disbursement procedures for materials and raw stock.
    • Ensure the timely availability of materials by continuously monitoring inventory levels and implementing effective stock management practices.

    Competencies and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Certifications in any of the following will be an advantage: The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply (NIPS), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), Six Sigma, or other relevant procurement and supply chain certifications.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain operations.
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies, and market trends. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for managing complexities and risks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
