    Head of Sales and Marketing

    Job Description

    • Our client, a leading and innovative healthcare system in Africa, seeks a Head of Sales and Marketing to join their dynamic team.
    • The ideal candidate be responsible for developing strategic and tactical initiatives aimed at increasing product revenue, profitability, and market share of our Product/Portfolio. 

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute marketing plans through insightful interpretation of market research, competitive intelligence, and overall industry knowledge. 
    • Lead product positioning, key messaging, and POA (Price on Asking) development in collaboration with the sales team. 
    • Lead social media initiatives related to the product/portfolio. 
    • In collaboration with Finance to design and execute advisory boards to gain market insights and feedback from key stakeholders to develop brand concepts and unique value propositions. 
    • Meet with key opinion leaders to strengthen customer insights and relationships. 
    • Plays an active role in C-Suite and high-impact customer selling activity. 
    • Manage the intake of competitive and industry intelligence to identify risks and opportunities that exist within the existing portfolio and future pipeline. 
    • Manage the complete lifecycle of the product portfolio, including pre-launch activity,  product launches, pricing, SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) optimization, market share, and penetration targets. 
    • Lead the preparation and submission of long-term and annual product sales budgets and quarterly estimates based on historical performance, external and internal factors, and sales intelligence. 
    • Identify, prepare, communicate, and monitor product sales targets and product promotions to ensure revenue and profit targets are met. 
    • Work closely with Sales and Customer Service in identifying competitive  opportunities or potential risks to monthly performance targets.
    • Active participation in all supply discussions to ensure appropriate levels of supply  and distribution are attained 
    • Working closely with Finance to develop product and sales promotions to  reduce inventory obsolescence 
    • Manage customer listing grids to ensure appropriate inventory and allocation of products, ensuring superior customer fulfillment and listing retention 
    • Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Customer Service to ensure product  supply meets demand expectations 
    • Manage our Market Research team, ensuring timely and accurate market information is produced monthly. 
    • Work with Sales Team to identify and recommend future product opportunities, in  line with company goals and objectives 
    • Planning and implementation of quantitative and qualitative market research  initiatives to develop market understanding and competitive activity 
    • Lead training on marketing and sales materials, programs, and messaging as required. 
    • Key Performance Indicators development and tracking for Sales Representatives.
    • Hire, coach, and develop marketing team members. 

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Seven (7) years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, wholesale, and distribution.
    • Minimum of a BSc. In Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree will be a bonus. 
    • Outstanding customer relationship, interpersonal and communication skills with the established ability to work with diverse audiences effectively and influence cross functionally.

    Job Overview

    • The ideal Candidate is required to provide support and resources for survivors of child sexual abuse through a variety of legal processes.
    • This includes assisting survivors of child sexual abuse, handling crimes in abuse cases,assisting survivors seeking domestic violence protection orders,helping to empower clients with self advocacy and working closely with the justice department on systemic response to sexual abuse cases.
    • The Legal Counsel is responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters,organisation contracts, and agreements.

    • Provide legal advocacy services for survivors of child sexual abuse and domestic violence.
    • Attend courts and make appearances as counsel holding watching brief.
    • Provide legal information, assistance and court support in matters of children and their protection against risk or harm.
    • Conduct essential intake interviews with beneficiaries to assess legal and urgent protection needs.
    • Provide advice on different legal issues and assist in drafting legal opinions, memoranda and other briefing documents for the organisation.
    • Prepare and accompany survivors and non-offending families to court for temporary and permanent protection order hearings.
    • Assist in organizing meetings with the lawyers from the Ministry of Justice before the case starts in court.
    • Assist in gathering evidence to support the police in doing their work thoroughly.
    • Conduct research for the organisation on legal matters by utilising various resources and selecting the relevant material to analyse the legal information.
    • Assist in training new legal counsel Counsel and developing/maintaining training manual.
    • Attend every court date and police interview with clients, keeping the clients updated on the progress and status of the case and accompanying them to the police station whenever their attention is needed.
    • Work with other legal representatives in the organisation and outside in a cooperative way that allows for timely completion of work and smooth transition of survivors.
    • Maintain professional working relationships with judges, attorneys, and victim advocates to represent the survivors effectively.

    Partnership Development

    • Cultivate relationships with child protection agencies at local, regional, and national level.
    • Establish connections with other non-profit organizations working in the child protection space.
    • Actively participate in collaborative projects and initiatives with external organizations.
    • Forge robust partnerships with other legal entities, and foster alliances with legal professionals, law firms, and relevant legal institutions.

    Qualifications

    • LLB in Law and active bar membership.
    • At least 5 years experience post-NYSC
    • Proven experience in child protection or related legal fields.
    • Strong understanding of national and international child protection laws.

    Skills and ability

    • Knowledgeable in legal matters especially in providing advocacy for survivors of child sexual abuse and violence.
    • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
