    Budget Analyst

    Description

    • Assist in the preparation and issuance of monthly Cash Call statements to Partners in line with the JOA, preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and other ad-hoc request from the Partners
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly Billing statements and Working Capital issued to Partners.
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly Production Allocation Statements and Proceed Imbalance issued to Partners and NNPC respectively
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly Production forecast Report and SEC production figures to Corporate Budget and Strategic Planning
    • Assist in the computation of SEC Production for monthly reporting, Budget and PDC sessions and Planned Production Shutdown report
    • Assist in the review and update of all WBS master data to ensure correct reporting parameters are used e.g. CAPEX/OPEX, JIB/JIBE codes, NNPC codes
    •  Assist in the preparation of Monthly Management Report & SOX Controls
    • Provide status report on all SOX controls managed by the Department
    • Provide Cost and Production performance reports to Corporate Budget in line with published timelines
    • Provide support to Venture Management department and prepare prompt responses to queries received from Partners and Authorities
    • Provide support to Cost Controllers during budget and performance reviews with NAPIMS – SUBCOM and TECOM
    •  Follow up alignment of routine reporting format in line with Corporate Budget’s format and effect changes when/where necessary.

    Qualifications

    BSc in Accounting, Economics, or other related discipline MSc and/or professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CITN) an advantage

    Preferred Skills

    • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office skills & SAP knowledge an advantage Good organizational ability, interpersonal and analytical skills.
    • Requires good knowledge and application of clauses contained in the various Joint Operating Agreements (JOA), Production sharing contracts (PSC), Carry Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NNPC, Farm-in and Farm out Agreements.
    • Requires strict compliance with dynamic accounting rules contained in Nigerian Accounting Standards(SAS), International Accounting Standards (IFRS/IAS), Petroleum Profit Tax acts, Sarbanes Oxley Act
    • Maintain contacts with the following teams: Cost Control, Third Party Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Joint Venture Management, Audit, Technical Logistics and Tax

    Telecoms Projects & Operations Engineer

    Description

    • Carry out technical engineering studies for the design, installation and standardization of Telecom systems, mast, earthing, etc. in line with specifications and GS TEL installation rules.
    • Operation and maintenance of the following field systems and equipment: PA/GA, CCTV, GMDSS, Access control, Radar with AIS, UHF/VHF Radios, Satellite TV, Line of site/Non-line of site microwave links: WiMAX, 4G/LTE, Radar Beacon (RACON), Non-Directional Beacon (NBD), Video conference, Infrastructure monitoring systems
    • Prepares technical specifications and scope of work to approved standards for various Telecoms projects (O&G, evolution/revamp), evaluate technical bids and prepares evaluation reports and supervise the project deployment.
    • Prepare specifications for telecommunications service contracts and required equipment/services needed to perform the Annual Maintenance Contract for Telecoms critical equipment to maintain high availability and reliability. Carry out routine telecommunication assessment visit and propose improvements
    • Supervise offshore Telecom specialists and assist in carrying out of maintenance activities on Telecom systems
    • Prepare technical reports, assisting in development of the 5-year work program, evaluating equipment obsolescence and propose replacement plan, update engineering and technical documents and manuals.
    • Preparation of technical dossier (Scope of work) to request for quotation from contractors regarding telecommunication projects, and specific operations on systems.
    • Propose Improvement of the quality of service provided by the Telecommunication Contractors for systems maintenance. Participate in supervision of third-party contractor on site to ensure compliance to installation rules
    • Recommend and implement appropriate solutions for operational problems/anomalies of Telecommunication Equipment/Systems at Field.
    • Actively participate in FAT, Commissioning activities for all Telecoms equipment and systems, and prepares punch lists and follow-up the progress of the punch list.
    • Participates in various commercial activities as required, coordinates the inspection of materials, evaluates technical offers, prepares Service Orders, answers technical queries from suppliers.

    Qualifications

    • University degree B.Sc. or HND degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering

    Preferred Skills

    Good reporting, interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge and use of computer drawing and office applications.

    Drilling & Wells Cost Controller

    Description

    • Prepares annual budget (both Corporate & Partner) for entity in conjunction with technical responsible
    • Prepares revised forecast information based on latest work scope
    • Participates in NAPIMS Sub-Committee meetings to defend Budget
    • Performance in order to achieve the necessary approvals
    • Prepares all necessary documentation for the month end closure (manual accrual’s, SKF’s, etc.) to ensure an accurate financial performance
    • Ensures all tasks are carried out in order to achieve SOX compliance
    •  Prepares monthly cost report with variance analysis to help technical responsible manage their budgets / costs
    • Provides monthly information for the NAPIMS cash call to ensure sufficient funding for the activities
    • Process and verify invoices to ensure timely payment
    • Schedules meetings monthly to discuss reports and finance related issues with Technical responsible.
    • Ad hoc variance analysis for District management / Corporate Finance
    •  Periodic reconciliation of technical cost sheets with SAP Values to ensure adequate follow up of daily drilling cost.
    • Creation of RFS purchase orders and maintenance of schedules for proper cost follow up.
    • Liaison with Technical logistics and budget and reporting teams to ensure correctness of allocated cost.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Engineering
    • 5 years Finance / Cost Control experience

    Preferred Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Engineering
    • Good systems knowledge, especially SAP and Excel
    • Good interpersonal / analytical skills
