Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies and procedures in line with local and international standards.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., NESREA, LASEPA, OSHA, etc.).
Investigate workplace accidents/incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Organize and conduct HSE training sessions for employees to promote a culture of safety.
Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability practices.
Maintain HSE records and documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety protocols.
Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an HSE Officer in a manufacturing company.
Strong experience in interfacing with regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with their requirements.
Professional HSE certifications
Excellent knowledge of health and safety laws, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
