    Agency Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to multiple unit managers and their teams to achieve sales targets and business growth.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand life insurance sales across all managed units.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor unit managers, ensuring their teams are motivated and equipped to meet performance goals.
    • Monitor and evaluate unit performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
    • Ensure all units comply with relevant insurance laws, NAICOM regulations, and company policies.
    • Facilitate communication and coordination between units and other departments such as marketing, underwriting, and customer service.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to capitalize on new business opportunities.
    • Oversee the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
    • Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous professional development among all units.
    • Resolve escalated client issues and agent disputes promptly and effectively.

    Unit Head

    Responsibilities

    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of insurance agents to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the unit’s life insurance business.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of agents, providing coaching and training as needed.
    • Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and company policies, including compliance with the Nigerian Insurance Act and NAICOM guidelines.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.
    • Prepare and present regular sales and performance reports to senior management.
    • Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and training of new agents.
    • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and potential clients.
    • Collaborate with marketing and underwriting departments to optimize product offerings and client satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years work experience.
