    Business Development Manager, Travels & Tour

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Manager, Travels & Tours is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s Travel & Tours business through the acquisition of corporate and individual clients.
    • The role focuses on mobilizing corporate travel deals, building strategic partnerships, identifying new market opportunities, and ensuring the successful promotion and sale of travel services.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the end-to-end business strategy for the Travel & Tours vertical in line with group objectives.
    • Lead market entry, brand positioning, and growth initiatives across corporate, leisure, and group travel segments.
    • Identify, pursue, and mobilize corporate travel deals with companies, institutions, and organizations.
    • Generate new business leads through networking, referrals, partnerships, and direct marketing initiatives.
    • Develop and present travel solutions, quotations, and proposals to potential clients.
    • Negotiate pricing, service terms, and agreements with clients in line with company policies.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and other key stakeholders.
    • Promote travel services including flight bookings, travel packages, hotel reservations, group travel, and visa support services.
    • Establish and enforce operational policies, SOPs, and service standards for the Travel & Tours vertical.
    • Ensure compliance with airline regulations, GDS requirements, NANTA, IATA (where applicable), and other statutory bodies.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities within the travel industry.
    • Track and manage the sales pipeline, client engagement activities, and conversion rates.
    • Build and lead a high-performing team across Business Development, Reservations & Ticketing, Operations, and support functions.
    • Set clear KPIs, performance targets, and accountability frameworks for the team.
    • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer acquisition.
    • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, business opportunities, and revenue projections for management review.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Aviation Management, or a related field.
    • MBA or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
    • 7–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or corporate account management within the travel, aviation, hospitality, or related industries.
    • Proven experience in mobilizing corporate accounts and driving revenue growth.
    • Strong knowledge of corporate travel services, airline operations, GDS, and partnership management.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify new market opportunities and develop strategic client relationships.
    • Excellent negotiation, networking, and client relationship management skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

    Reservation & Ticketing Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Reservation & Ticketing Officer will manage end-to-end travel operations, ensuring seamless bookings and exceptional guest experiences.
    • You will be responsible for accurate ticket issuance, hotel reservations, and travel packages while maintaining strict compliance with airline and company policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ticketing & Booking: Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, and cancellations via airline portals.
    • Travel Coordination: Process hotel bookings, airport transfers, and customized travel packages.
    • Documentation: Prepare accurate itineraries, invoices, and necessary travel documentation for clients.
    • Consultation: Provide basic visa advisory support, including documentation checklists and application guidance.
    • Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and walk-ins.
    • Liaison: Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and hotels to resolve booking issues and ensure service delivery.
    • Reporting: Maintain precise booking records, customer data, and transaction logs.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • OND / HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 2 - 3 years of experience in travel, reservations and ticketing.
    • Working knowledge of visa processes and international travel requirements.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot,Zoho or Salesforce)
    • Demonstrated ability to work proactively,manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
