Duties & Responsibilities

• Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
• Managing transactions using a cash register
• Balancing the cash register
• Making sure pricing and quantities are accurate
• Accepting payments in cash, credit or check
• Making bank deposits and payment reconciliations
• Providing change and receipts
• Providing accurate and timely receipts to customers
• Answering customer inquiries and providing information about fuel prices, promotions, and services
• Keeping the cashier area clean and organized.

Requirements

• Minimum of an OND in Accounting, Banking and Finance.
• Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities 

• Managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
• Preparing financial reports and statements.
• Handling accounts receivable and payable.
• Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Monitoring cash flow and managing expenses.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial compliance.
• Knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in accounting or finance
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the role
