Job Summary

• The HIAB / Lorry Loader Driver is responsible for operating a truck fitted with a mounted crane to transport, load, and offload heavy materials safely and efficiently. The role requires both skilled driving and technical crane operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Crane Operation: Operate lorry-mounted (HIAB) crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials
• Driving & Transport: Safely drive heavy-duty vehicles to assigned locations
• Load Security: Ensure all loads are properly secured before transit
• Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre- and post-trip checks on truck and crane
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all traffic laws and HSE regulations
• Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and inspection records

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a HIAB or similar loader crane
• Valid driver’s license (preferably Class G or relevant heavy-duty class)
• Good understanding of safety procedures and load handling
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantage

• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
