JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and maintain financial statements for Retail Company.
• Coordinate daily accounting activities
• Create journal entries in the ledger
• Report financial status to shareholders, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

LOCATION: APAPA LAGOS

We are hiring for the above position on behalf of our Client.

• The job holder will be responsible for every aspect of the day-to-day supervision of retail outlets, including sales, staff, and stock and resources management.
• Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff. Managing budgets. Maintaining statistical and financial records.
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints.
• Overseeing pricing and stock control. Experience should be from a Retail Business (super market, retail chains etc.)
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience handling supermarket

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Respond to payroll needs .
• Understand the business and specific operations that generate payroll data, tracking and reporting payroll inputs and outputs into the Navision system
• Reviewing existing payroll systems, documentation and procedures and building improved systems to cope staff levels
• Preparation of statutory returns and ensuring compliance to all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, payments and submission deadlines
• Preparation of payroll audit files for compliance, internal and external audits
• Attend to staff queries and reporting needs of payroll services within standard confidentiality limits.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or ICAN/ACCA qualification.
• 5years experience
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills (superior excel skills); Microsoft Dynamics (Navision)/ ERP Knowledge is an added advantage
• Self-motivated, methodical and proactive in accomplishing tasks.
