    Credit Administration Officer

    Job Summary

    Successful Candidate will be responsible for preparing loan applications, evaluating clients’ financial information, and calculating risk ratios. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    •  Review loan requests
    •  Assess clients’ financial status
    •  Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
    •  Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
    •  Analyze risks and proffer recommendation to Management in accordance with the Company’s approved risk limit
    •  Develop, maintain, and revise credit assessment policy as approved by Management
    •  Calculate financial ratios (e.g., credit scores and interest rates)
    •  Set up payment plans
    •  Maintain updated records of loan applications
    •  Follow up with clients about loan renewals
    •  Monitor progress of existing loans

    Educational Qualification and Requirements

    •  University Degree or equivalent standard with a high numeric content: Statistics, Econometrics, Business Administration / Economics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.
    •  2+ years proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role
    •  Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products
    •  Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
    •  Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    •  Effective verbal and written communication skills
    •  Customer service experience
    •  Strong analytical skills

    Financial Controller

    Job Summary

    Successful candidate shall be a critical part of the Company. The Candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of finance and accounting. The financial controller will overseas all functions of an organization’s finance and accounting department.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee the preparation, reporting, filing and management of all financial statements
    • Oversee the accounting, filing and payment of all statutory liabilities accurately and within the stipulated timelines
    • Ensure proper application of accounting standards in managing and recording financial transactions
    • Create and generate timely month end and annual reports to communicate the financial performance trends, and forecasts
    • Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported
    • Prepare and deliver the budget and financial plans on time and manage expenditure within the approved limits
    • Perform data migration and effectively use accounting software to analyze, report and manage financial information
    • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to identify and implement approved cost reduction opportunities
    • Assist the Management and Board in developing and implementing a risk management process
    • Ensure effective cost control and cost management processes are implemented, tracked, and reported
    • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
    • Coordinating audit processes

    Educational Qualification and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent from a reputable higher institution
    • MBA or master’s degree is an added advantage
    • Accounting Professional Certification is an added advantage
    • 4+ years finance and accounting experience, preferably in the financial sector
    • A minimum of 1 years at managerial level
    • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals, standards, and principles
    • Demonstratable experience with accounting tools/software
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and auditing skills

    Legal and Compliance Officer

    Job Summary

    Successful candidate shall be a critical part of the Company. The Candidate shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements. The Legal and Compliance Officer shall also ensure the Company complies with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines as observed in the financial industry.
    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
    • Draft a wide variety of legal agreements
    • Provide advice on corporate legal issues and business matters
    • Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA)
    • Provide internal advisory services to the business units and departments within the Company
    • Analyze and review legal agreements, legislation and documents for the Management and Board
    • Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they follow all statutory or legal requirements
    • Ensure compliance with laid down internal & external (i.e. CBN) guidelines, policies, and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be required
    • Regularly audit Company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks
    • Review and advice management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures
    • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
    • Any other duties as may be assigned

    Educational Qualification and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputable higher institution
    • Member of the Nigerian Bar Association
    • Master’s degree is an added advantage
    • 3+ years legal and compliance experience, preferably in the financial sector
    • In-depth knowledge of corporate law
    • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Good understanding of general and specific company and commercial law
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
