    Natnuprenuer Farmers Satisfaction Representative

    Job Description

    • This role aims to facilitate the seamless integration of farmers into the natnuPrenuer scheme, provide them with essential extension services, and ensure their adherence to best practices in broiler rearing.
    • Foster a conducive environment for farmers to thrive, achieve desired outcomes, and contribute to the scheme's objectives of increased market share, sales targets attainment, profitability, and sustainability.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Actively recruit farmers to participate in the NatnuPrenuer scheme.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new farmers, ensuring they understand the scheme's requirements, benefits, and expectations and service existing customers.
    • Provide comprehensive extension services to farmers, including technical guidance, training, and support on broiler bird-rearing practices.
    • Conduct regular farm visits to assess the progress of farmers, identify challenges, and provide timely interventions and solutions.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor within the NatnuPrenuer scheme.
    • Address farmer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels.
    • Monitor the performance of farmers, including key metrics such as bird health, feed conversion ratio, and mortality rates.
    • Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions to enhance farmer productivity and success.
    • Facilitate the sale of broiler birds produced by farmers to the company, ensuring seamless transactions and fair pricing.
    • Establish and maintain strong market linkages to optimize the sale of birds and maximize profitability for farmers.
    • Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for farmers to enhance their knowledge and skills in broiler bird-rearing techniques, farm management, and business practices.
    • Maintain accurate records of farmer profiles, farm visits, training sessions, and other relevant data.
    • Prepare regular reports on farmer performance, challenges, and achievements for management review and decision-making.
    • Continuously assess and refine the NatnuPrenuer scheme based on farmer feedback, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the scheme.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field.
    • Minimum of two years of proven experience in agricultural extension services, preferably in poultry farming.
    • Strong knowledge of broiler bird-rearing techniques, farm management practices, and agricultural markets.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively to rural areas.
    • Knowledge of the terrain and ability to speak the local dialect is an added advantage.

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise day-to-day poultry processing operations, ensuring efficient workflow, quality output, compliance with food safety regulations, and achievement of production targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily chicken processing activities including slaughtering, evisceration, chilling, portioning, and packaging.
    • Ensure staff follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety, and hygiene guidelines.
    • Monitor shift operations and ensure timely completion of production targets.

    • To assist the Production Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities at the poultry abattoir, ensuring compliance with quality standards, production targets, and operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the implementation of production schedules to meet sales demand.
    • Supervise all production processes and ensure workflow meets efficiency, safety, and quality benchmarks.

    Maintenance Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Maintenance Manager will ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of all machinery, equipment, and facilities within the abattoirs facility and plays a crucial role in ensuring a reduction in repair cost, adhering to safety standards, and minimizing downtime

    Roles and Responsibilities
    Maintenance Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive maintenance plan for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
    • Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules are followed.
    • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that all maintenance activities are cost-effective and that expenses are in line with budgetary constraints

    Team Leadership:

    • Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.

    • As the Quality Control Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the adherence to quality standards and regulations in the processing and packaging of frozen chicken products within the abattoir, by monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures to maintain product safety, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Conduct regular inspections of the abattoir facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and GMP guidelines.
    • Monitor the handling, slaughtering, and processing of chickens to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements.
