Job Summary
The Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of the bank by supporting branch and back-office activities, ensuring compliance with operational policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining service quality, and facilitating seamless transaction processing.
Key Responsibilities
Execute daily operational activities in line with the bank's policies and procedures.
Process customer transactions accurately and within established turnaround times.
Monitor daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Ensure proper documentation and processing of account opening, account maintenance, and account closure requests.
Verify customer documentation in line with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
Reconcile daily transactions, suspense accounts, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Monitor cash management activities and ensure adequate cash availability.
Coordinate the processing of inward and outward transfers, standing orders, and other banking transactions.
Ensure proper custody and control of sensitive operational instruments, including cheque books, security documents, and vault operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2–5 years' experience in banking operations, preferably within a microfinance bank.
Knowledge of microfinance banking operations and regulatory requirements.
Professional certifications such as ACIB, ACA, ACCA, or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of banking products, operational controls, and customer service standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Core Banking Systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Summary
The Head, Loan Monitoring is responsible for leading the Bank's post-disbursement loan monitoring function to ensure that all credit facilities are utilized for approved purposes, repayments are made in accordance with agreed schedules, portfolio quality is maintained, and emerging credit risks are promptly identified and managed.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the Bank's loan monitoring framework, policies, and procedures.
Supervise the monitoring of all disbursed credit facilities from disbursement until full repayment.
Ensure post-disbursement verification visits are conducted to confirm proper utilization of loan proceeds.
Monitor repayment trends and identify early warning indicators of potential loan defaults.
Ensure prompt follow-up on overdue accounts and coordinate appropriate recovery actions.
Review portfolio quality reports and recommend strategies for reducing portfolio at risk (PAR).
Conduct periodic reviews of loan covenants, collateral adequacy, and customer compliance with approved loan conditions.
Prepare comprehensive portfolio monitoring reports for Executive Management and the Board Credit Committee.
Collaborate with Credit Management, Recovery, and Legal Services to resolve delinquent loan accounts.
Monitor sectoral, geographic, and product concentration risks within the loan portfolio.
Recommend restructuring, rescheduling, or other remedial actions for distressed facilities where appropriate.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional certification such as ACIB, ACA, ACCA, ICAN, ANAN, or related qualification.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in credit administration, loan monitoring, recovery, or risk management within a financial institution.
Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of lending operations and portfolio management.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing lending activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and core banking applications.
