    Human Resource Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
    • She/He will promote corporate values and enable success through human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall strategy.
    • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring decisions.
    • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
    • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
    • Implement and manage employee development plans.
    • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
    • Deal with disciplinary actions, such as terminations, as needed.
    • Review and update HR policies and procedures.
    • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Support HR-related projects, such as organizational restructuring or culture initiatives.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.

    Education and Experience / Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Advanced degree and/or professional HR certification preferred.
    • A minimum of Eleven (11) years of Human Resource Management experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in an NGO environment is an advantage
    • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources Metrics.
    • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.

    Cleaner

    Job Purpose

    • The Cleaner plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment within the office premises.She/he will be responsible for ensuring that all designated areas are cleaned and sanitized, thereby providing overall safety, health, and well-being of staff, and visitors.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Daily cleaning of the compound and garden area.
    • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in all offices, boardroom, restrooms, garden, and other areas as assigned.
    • Daily and frequent cleaning of toilets; replenishing toilet supplies - soap, handwash, air freshener, and tissue paper are available when needed.
    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
    • Cleaning the fridge, microwave, and kitchen work surface weekly.
    • Report any office maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the designated supervisor promptly.
    • Carry out other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of SSCE
    • Must have at least one-year experience in a similar position
    • Good numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
    • Good attention to details and accuracy.
