    Agile Product Manager

    Job Summary

    We are seeking an organized and energetic Agile Product Manager to join our growing organization. The person will work with the business cofounder and adjunct team to organize and implement new and exciting company projects including ONWARDS (more on onwards.com.ng). The role is essential to the launching of new products and the Agile Product Manager must be organized and professional. The Agile Product Manager is also responsible for adhering to and promoting the company values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team leader and supports the continued growth of the company.

    AGILE PRODUCT MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Take ownership of ONWARDS (see onwards.com.ng) and other assigned products, direct and perform all aspects of product development, product changes and product promotions, including development procedures, specifying components, training structure and content, product positioning, pricing, catalog and sell sheet copy, training aides and point of purchase merchandisers.
    • Utilize critical thinking and strategic skills to create new opportunities for the business that will improve revenue and overall growth in the business
    • Elicit and identify customer needs and develop product roadmaps to deliver toward meeting customer expectations
    • Devise a product strategy by defining, prioritizing and delivering key improvements to the user experience for the product websites and mobile applications
    • Evaluate new product concepts for viability and present to senior leadership for approval
    • Generate epics and users stories to provide guidance to the Development team
    • Collaborate with and lead Product Engineering in an Agile environment to develop new features and resolve product issues
    • Convert ideas into basic wireframes to provide direction to UX and UI Designers; collaborate with the Design team to create final user flows and screen designs
    • Launch, manage and optimize Digital feature enhancements across all digital channels, and closely monitor, measure, and report on feature performance
    • Analyze performance data to identify opportunities to improve guest experiences, increase conversion, and optimize efficiencies
    • Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve the product vision and roadmap for Digital experiences
    • Support Digital Marketing to create or improve campaign strategies and their effectiveness

    AGILE PRODUCT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Should have hands-on experience spanning program, project, product and team management.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience working in large-scale software development/management CMS, product catalogue management or Digital Asset Management systems).
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and resourcefulness; find scrappy solutions to challenging problems while keeping the eye on the long-term vision
    • Dealing with ambiguity; ability to put structure around ambiguous problems and break them into bite-sized chunks
    • Technically deep and business savvy; ability to collaborate with all levels and disciplines within an organization, from engineers to senior leadership
    • Strong understanding of digital ecosystem; website design, content types, mobile and tablet applications and web technologies.
    • Ability to write clear user stories, manage a roadmap and prioritize features linking business, competitive, and user needs.
    • Demonstrated experience shipping products, familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies a plus.
    • Must exhibit high degree of ownership and accountability.
    • Demonstrate team building competence and ability to manage, motivate guide multiple teams.
    • Ability to execute complex projects, programs on time and within budget.
    • Possess strong client facing skills and delivery focused and proficient in managing multiple cross-functional teams/projects.
    • Experience in User Experience Design, Wireframing, Usability would be a plus
    • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects

    HR STRATEGY AND EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE ANALYST AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Superior knowledge of the HR function & processes
    • Experience in one or more of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Customer Experience, Talent Acquisition strategy, Learning and development strategy, Total Rewards/Compensation operating model and integration points with Benefits, Pension, etc., HR Business Partner Design, CoE Strategy and Design.
    • Applying leadership and project management skills to operational teams across the organization in developing strategic plans
    • Building methodologies, templates, and instruction to support data analysis, identification of gaps (capacity and capability), and development of gap closure strategies
    • Creating executive communication strategies to inform and influence key stakeholders on strategy decisions
    • Experience leading requirements gathering workshops, running labs, or facilitating meetings
    • Conducting environmental scans, labor market studies and scenario planning, workforce modelling to assess forces that will impact leaders’ ability to size and shape  workforce
    • Analyzing personnel data for accurate understanding of PayPal’s workforces
    • Researching, benchmarking, and proposing draft competency models
    • Facilitating the collaboration of subject matter experts to review, update, and validate occupation-specific competency models
    • Experience leading the vendor selection process(client and supplier sides) including RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services
    • Develop innovative and scalable solutions to drive hiring and meet business objectives
    • Design custom and executable staffing plans while building excellent relationships with our client groups within Facebook recruiting
    • Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies and ensure a high-touch candidate experience
    • Drive key initiatives, facilitate & lead meetings and projects with recruiting team and client groups
    • Compile & analyze data and metrics to support business decisions and plans as necessary
    • In partnership with the team, deliver talent and manage candidate pipeline activity to meet or exceed hiring timelines and deliverables

    HR STRATEGY AND EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE ANALYST REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

      • 2+ years of leadership experience managing recruiting professionals
      • Experience in data analytics and reporting
      • Knowledge of compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
      • Experience independently partnering with leadership and driving hiring initiatives
      • Experience influencing senior leadership and executive teams
      • Experience developing and executing sourcing/recruitment plans for searches
      • Able to work effectively under pressure

    • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects

    • Able to produce quality work with strict deadlines
