    Electrical Manager

    Reports To: Plant Manager / Head of Engineering 
    Location: Sango – Ota, Ogun State. 

    Job Purpose: 

    To manage, supervise, and coordinate all electrical maintenance activities within the plant, ensuring uninterrupted operation of production lines, minimal downtime, and full compliance with electrical safety and quality standards in the flexible packaging process. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Electrical Maintenance & Operations 
      • Oversee all electrical systems and ensure effective functioning of production and utility equipment. 
      • Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs. 
      • Diagnose faults and respond promptly to breakdowns on extrusion, printing, lamination, and slitting machines. 
      • Ensure all electrical works are performed according to industry standards and company safety policies. 
    • Project Supervision & Upgrades 
      • Supervise installation and commissioning of new equipment, electrical panels, and automation systems. 
      • Liaise with OEMs and service vendors for project execution, upgrades, and performance optimization. 
      • Initiate and implement energy-saving and system improvement projects aimed at cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. 
    • Team Leadership & Development 
      • Lead, train, and mentor electrical technicians and supervisors to enhance technical competence. 
      •  Develop work schedules and ensure adequate maintenance coverage across all shifts. 
      • Promote a culture of safety awareness, discipline, and continuous improvement within the team. 
    • Energy & Power Management 
      • Monitor power usage and ensure efficient energy consumption across the plant. 
      • Coordinate with utility providers to ensure consistent and reliable power supply. 
      • Propose and drive initiatives to reduce energy costs and losses. 
    • Documentation & Compliance 
      • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, drawings, and system documentation. 
      • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and internal audit protocols. 
      • Prepare technical reports and performance summaries for management decision-making. 

    Qualifications and Experience: 

    • B.Sc. or HND in Electrical / Electronics Engineering. 
    • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant industrial experience, preferably within a flexible packaging or manufacturing plant. 
    • Strong knowledge of industrial automation (PLCs, VFDs, Servo Drives, and control panels). 
    •  Hands-on experience with printing, lamination, extrusion, and slitting machines is a strong advantage. 
    • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex maintenance operations.

    Mechanical Manager - Ota

    Reporting To: Plant Manager / General Manager – Operations 
    Location: Sango-Ota, Ogun State. 
    Industry: Flexible Packaging / Manufacturing. 

    Job Summary: 

    The Mechanical Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all mechanical maintenance activities within the flexible packaging plant. This role ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment and utilities through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, resource management, and team leadership. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Maintenance Management 

    • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all production and utility equipment (extruders, printing machines, laminators, slitters, compressors, chillers, etc.). 
    • Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize machine availability. 
    • Ensure all breakdowns are attended to promptly with root cause analysis and corrective action plans. 

    Equipment Reliability & Performance 

    • Monitor mechanical equipment performance and ensure optimal operation efficiency. 
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing machine downtime and maintenance costs. 
    •  Maintain detailed maintenance records, logs, and reports for performance tracking. 

    Team Leadership & Development 

    • Supervise mechanical engineers, technicians, and artisans, ensuring proper skill utilization and motivation. 
    • Conduct regular technical training and skill development sessions for maintenance personnel. 
    • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and company maintenance standards. 

    Spare Parts & Inventory Control 

    • Plan and monitor the availability of critical mechanical spares and consumables. 
    • Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely replenishment and cost control. 

    Projects & Installation 

    • Oversee mechanical aspects of new equipment installation, commissioning, and plant expansion projects. 
    • Liaise with OEMs and contractors to ensure proper installation, calibration, and handover. 

    Safety, Quality & Compliance 

    • Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory maintenance regulations. 
    • Ensure all maintenance works adhere to ISO/quality standards and company policies. 

    Qualifications & Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 
    •  Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within a flexible packaging or manufacturing environment. 
    • Strong technical knowledge of extrusion, printing, lamination, slitting, and utility systems. 
    •  Proven leadership and people management skills. 
    • Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS) and MS Office applications. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
