The Procurement Officer is involved in maximizing project margin, adding value to the construction process by proactive involvement in procurement, cost management and reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Meet subcontractors and suppliers on-site where necessary
• Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations
• Research new materials for design and cost savings
• Ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers provide insurance policies for products delivered
• Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.

REQUIREMENTS

•    At least a Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying (Q.S.)/ Upper Limit High National Diploma in Q.S.
• Must be Certified by the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Procurement Officer in the Construction industry
• Proficient in standard industry software
• Preferably from the Eastern Part of Nigeria for workplace diversity.

The Warehouse Officer will be responsible for the maintenance of Ultimus Global Integrated warehouse which includes but is not limited to, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, and other related duties as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing of documents for quality control evaluations
• Meeting and managing customers, suppliers and distributors 
• Plans and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, packing, labelling, pricing, delivering, and maintaining a perpetual inventory of forms, office supplies, and various types of equipment.
• Develop an effective stocking and inventory management system that maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment to curb stock loss.
•  Ensuring all documents are complete and signed by the highest authority before receiving or releasing stock.

REQUIREMENTS

•  B.sc in supply chain or any other related field.
•  Preferably Male
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
