    Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

    Job Summary

    • Support the commercial ambition of cross-functional engagement to drive business growth, and profitability and create value for stakeholders Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Support the commercial risk management process by identifying and reviewing potential finance risk exposures and making recommendations to minimize cost or damage should a loss occur.
    • Support the FBP to perform Interface with Commercial Functions, Support Functions, and Manufacturing Supply finance team to achieve financial and management reporting.

    Job Details

    • Responsible to provide valuable insight into the drivers of business performance through Finance KPIs covering, P&L, Segment wise Sales, Brand Analysis, Gross Margin, Operating Expenses, Headcount, and Working Capital.
    • Report & analysis of Operating to ensure delivery of P&L through control over operating expenses.
    • Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet review and assist FBP to Sign off for the business.
    • Preparation & submission of Monthly MIS on time with quality output.
    • Reporting of Flash Sales with commentary as per the monthly timelines.
    • Ensure recording all of sales and compliance with revenue recognition.
    • Working with FBP to develop and implement the strategies for the business, across all product segments and geographies.
    • Working with the senior management team to set the annual budget targets and ensure that those targets are reflected in the annual budget.
    • Prepare 3/1 Plan basis inputs from all depts ensure that required submissions and presentations are delivered on time and of high quality. Identify and highlight potential areas of concern on a timely basis.
    • Embed a culture of cost management. Create Financial Ownership (CFO) at all levels/functions through Finance for Non-Finance Program.
    • Review Capital Investment Proposals (CIP) and assumptions in light of the current performance other the operating company.
    • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) of significant projects to ensure continuous alignment of the Strategic Investment Proposals (SIP)
    • Finance risk identification, assessment, & evaluation.
    • Identifying development needs during performance reviews
    • Ensure data is used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data. Education/

    Requirements

    • Qualified Accountant, 5- 7 years of experience in Finance or accounting-related function
    • Membership of professional bodies, ACA, ACCA, CITN
    • Strong ERP exposure
    • Strong MS office working knowledge especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working in a complex and challenging environment Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
    • Proven ability to create commercial analyses and translate findings into strategic recommendations. FMCG commercial awareness.

    Assistant Payable Manager

    Job Summary

    • Assistant Account Payable Manager is responsible for the smooth running and management of the Accounts payable unit. Saddled with the other tasks of providing reports to aid management decision as regards payment, processing of payment documents in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner and provision of other accounting support.

    Job Details

    • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
    • Enter and upload invoices into system and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
    • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
    • Reports of VAT and WHT by calculating requirements on paid invoices
    • Produce monthly reports, assist in month end closing and other projects as needed
    • Track expenses and process expense reports such as floats, travels, staff vendors advance etc.
    • Reconcile accounts payable transactions including vendor statements and prepare analysis of accounts
    • Provide data for working capital forecasting requirements for vendors and other creditors.
    • Processing payment document in accordance with internal procedures and policy as well as in compliance with legal requirements i.e., Tax laws
    • Process Freight Payments and other third parties’ payments by recording entry; verifying documentation and making sure to release the payments within stipulated timelines.
    • Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining liaison with suppliers to ensure that payments are made promptly, and accounts are up to date.
    • Regular communication with internal and external clients via phone and email correspondence on payment matters
    • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
    • Provide supporting documentation for audits and performs other duties as required to support the department.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting)
    • 4-6 years in account payable or general accounting procedures
    • An accounting professional certification in either ACCA, ICAN or equivalents
    • Proficient in data entry and management
    • Ability to use MS Excel, Word, Power Point
    • Knowledge of NAVISON or a similar system is an advantage
    • Ability to meet deadline, multi-task and follow-up on pending issues
    • Must be open to change and willing to learn new skills
