    Order Fulfilment Intern

    Location: Saka Tinubu, Lagos
    Job Type: Contract
    Department: Technical

    Responsibilities

    • The Order Fulfilment Intern would primarily responsible for supporting order fulfilment and ensuring effective monitoring and control/management of service activation process within the organisation.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Evaluating all documentation and record of orders.
    • Manage customer expectations and ensure requests are communicated to key stakeholders.
    • Processing all orders and commercial approval/waiver and resolving all discrepancies.
    • Validate customer requirement per technical solution and ensure services are billed appropriately
    • Manage Customers’ delivery issues that require cross functional intervention and ensuring that customer requests are treated.
    • Ensure full compliance by technical team to delivery commitment made in the project implementation plan.
    • Ensure timely delivery and acceptance of circuits in line with contract terms and agreed acceptance testing period.
    • Process benchmarking and compliance enforcement relating to service activation and support.
    • Analyzing trend and gaps in the provisioning process and reporting areas for improvement to key stake holders.
    • Provide regular support to finance team by reporting closed sales and services commencement date.

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • B.Sc. / B.Tech / HND in any course preferably Data Analysis, Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management or any other related field
    • 0 - 1 year work experience
    • Strong IT skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Required: Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication and organisation skills  is a strong requirement

    Group Head, Support Services

    Department: Corporate Services & Development

    Responsibilities

    • The Group Head, Support Services (GHSS) will be responsible for organizing and managing the Group’s administrative services across locations, to ensure seamless operations across the Group. 
    • The GHSS shall be the custodian of MainOne’s administrative policies and will drive implementation and compliance, as required.

    Specific responsibilities include:  
    General Office Administration:

    • Establish policies, procedures to ensure the smooth running of office operations as well as the supply and effective distribution of office equipment and consumables across the Company
    • Manage and oversee administrative, clerical and secretarial services to support operations across the Company
    • Provide comprehensive office and facilities support to the Company, in line with business needs.
    • Ensure the purchase and maintenance of office furniture, equipment, and supplies in line with the Company’s quality and cost objectives
    • Oversee the care for the day-to-day appearance of offices, such that a high standard is maintained continuously
    • Direct and plan essential central services, including fleet management, ensuring availability and effective service delivery

    Travel, Events and Logistics Management:

    • Oversee travel management activities including visa application and processing, hotel management, ticketing, travel insurance etc.
    • Organise and facilitate internal meetings, conferences and events.
    • Oversee logistics arrangements for asset relocation/material movement and transportation for the Company.

    Procurement Management:

    • Perform all tasks relating to the sourcing, management of the procurement process, including identification, evaluation and selection of vendors/suppliers of goods/consumables for the Group
    • Oversee procurement activities for all non-technical products and services, as well as ensure compliance with the Company’s procurement process
    • Ensure the development and maintenance of a vendor and supplier database for the various products and services procured by the company – Supplier analysis & negotiations, supplier performance management
    • Ensure the development of an inventory management system for all products utilised by the company and the definition of reorder levels for all identified items
    • Ensure proper analysis is done for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
    • Manage vendor relationships ensuring that they are competitive and serve the needs of the company

    Facility Management:

    • Oversee the strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to the Group’s office buildings and premises.
    • Building and grounds maintenance
    • Cleaning
    • Catering and vending
    • Security
    • Utilities infrastructure
    • Space management
    • Champion the implementation of a first-class maintenance, and management culture for the Company’s assets and facilities
    • Ensure that the Group’s facility management practices conform to Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures and standards
    • Conduct periodic inspections to examine the conditions of the Group’s facilities and ensure that maintenance contractors adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    • Coordinate and oversee contractors, suppliers and outsourced vendors
    • Plan for future developments and office space needs in line with strategic business objectives
    • Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to business activities

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • First Degree in any discipline or related discipline
    • 10 years of relevant experience with at least three years in supervisory role
    • Analytical and problem solving skills

    Field Technical Support Officer

    Responsibilities

    • The Field Technical Support Intern will be responsible for installation, second line network troubleshooting, restoration, and fault management support on the elements and components of the Main One network and assist clients in solving complex technical issues.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Responsible for surveys at customer location and preparing the BOQs thereof
    • Responsible for supervising ongoing customer connection OFC deployment and conducting handover to the Ops team
    • Responsible for the documentation of all after build and as-built information and reports 
    • Responsible for installation and configuration of customer premise equipment (CPE).
    • Maintain and ensure full compliance with all Main One’s field support processes and procedures
    • Ensure safe decommissioning of equipment and making them fit for reuse.
    • Confer with customers in initial deployment troubleshooting, as well as in the initial debugging of new hardware and software.
    • Report site(s) conditions to the network operating centre.
    • Interpret survey reports (SRs) to effectively carry out onsite/installation activities.
    • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
    • Supervise vendors with onsite installations, to ensure that it conforms with MainOne quality standards.
    • Responsible for structure cabling, PATs, and onsite installations supervision to ensure that standards and quality are maintained all times.
    • Carry out survey, desktop/onsite and provide survey reports in clear terms with minimal supervision.
    • Accurate auditing, recording, and management of company assets deployed at clients' site
    • Follow up with all activities to ensure that no issue arises from our deliverables at the customer’s premises while maintaining excellent customer delivery at every point
    • Troubleshoot onsite issues in a timely manner. 
    • Ensure all customer SLAs are met.

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • B.Sc. or HND in Engineering any other related discipline.
    • Certifications in HSE will be an added advantage.
    • Certifications in CCNA will be an added advantage
    • A good understanding of Ethernet and wireless networks
    • Previous experience working in Wireless and Wired technology (UBIQUITY, Ruckus etc.)
    • Must have a high level of computer literacy to be able to configure PC IP settings, use basic IP testing and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Ability to interpret topography, network design maps, and AutoCAD Designs
    • Good experience in power management/ first level Power handling (DC and AC)
    • Good stakeholder management (Vendor, Internal management)
    • knowledge of structured ethernet cabling standards and good cable management

    Demands of the Job:

    • This role requires stamina and a lot of long hours 
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly
    • Ability to communicate with customers in a clear and concise manner.
    • Must be able to work comfortably at heights with total regard for safety and good work ethics.
    • Might be required to work late hours and during weekends
