    Finance Operations Officer

    Department: Finance

    Responsibilities

    • The Finance Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring all reconciling items are promptly treated, and all revenue and expenses are captured within the reporting period.

    Other job functions include:

    • Assist in preparing bank reconciliations. 
    • Assist in Fixed Asset management process i.e. Creating of asset profile for newly acquired assets, conversion of purchase orders to invoice and capitalization of assets, regular check for accuracy of depreciation computation, reconciliation of discrepancies between asset register and TB balances on a monthly basis, preparation of fixed asset movement schedules, additions, reclass, reversals, intercompany transfers, WIP schedules, disposal schedules etc.

    • Assist in ensuring the integrity of the general ledger postings. 
    • Confirm authorizations for all requests and obtain necessary supporting documents.

    Field Support Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Track and repair signal outages on Gpon including signal leakages on the network in coordination with Engineering, Maintenance and NOC teams
    • Ensure sites are attended to within SLA.
    • Update dispatch with accurate information pertaining sites and customer feedback
    • Ensure quality is attained with reference to industry standards.
    • Handle CPES and ensure they are well packaged with all accessories intact in cases of recovery

    • First Degree in a relevant field of study.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the design and construction of Fiber Optic Networks, including 2 years of experience at various levels of project management .
    • A comparable amount of training, education and experience may be substituted in lieu of some of the minimum qualification
    • Good knowledge of GPON protocol (ITU-T G.98x standards) and/or a strong experience of GPON equipment configuration (OLT & ONT) is mandatory
    • Considerable knowledge of design and construction practice on GPON fiber optic networks
    • Good knowledge of equipment and technologies like:
      • Ethernet access networks (VLAN bridging, cross-connect)
      • Ethernet QoS (policing, shaping, IEEE 802.1p, 802.1q, 802.1ad)

    Cloud Database & Storage Administrator

    • The Database Administrator will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of databases.

    The specific responsibilities will include:

    • Design/implement data persistence solutions with the right database solution.
    • Implementation of best practice guidelines and policies relating to databases as well as capacity planning of databases, storage and backup.
    • Ownership of operational stability of business-critical database instances.
    • Day-to-day proactive monitoring, including monitoring error logs, database and log space, user activity, and resource utilization.
    • SQL and DB performance tuning, reporting and forecasting.
    • Developing and refining of backup procedures and policy.

    Cloud Support Officer

    Responsibilities

    • The Cloud Support Officer will be responsible for providing first level support to MainOne Cloud & Managed services customers in line with customer SLA requirement.

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Respond to operational requests with Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS) or implementation plan
    • Work with the GNOC team, Cloud operations team as well as the Managed services team in a shift system to provide 24/7 support to Cloud customers.

    • Experience working with Windows/Linux operating systems
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft system centre 2012 or later versions
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a virtualization & cloud environment.

    Building Management System (BMS) Engineer

    Department: Technical

    Responsibilities

    • The Building Management System (BMS) Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and monitoring of the MDXi Lekki Data Center, comprising of Data Center electrical & mechanical components such as CHILLERS, CRAC/CRAH VESDA & FM200, Access Control, CCTV, Water Leakage Detection etc., equipment within and outside Lagos.     • Support for Reviews & Audits, Audit tracker updating and coordination.
    • Ensuring that the team is meeting the SLAs with internal clients in all aspects.

    Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

    • BSc in Electrical and Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Engineering or other relevant disciplines with 4 - 5 years work experience
    • Transferable experience and knowledge of structured cabling.
    • Good knowledge of ITIL, SQL, Windows server 2012, VMWare
