    Scrum Master (Financial Technology)

    Job Summary:

    The company is looking to hire a resourceful Scrum manager who can effectively adopt agile principles and practices, foster efficient collaboration between teams, departments, and stakeholders to avoid misunderstandings, delays, and misalignments, improve transparency, and resolve blockers that may affect delivery on the job.

    KPIs to measure performance that define success in this role.

    • Measure the teams velocity, which represents the amount of work completed in a given iteration (sprint). Consistent improvement in velocity over time may indicate increased team efficiency.
    • Track the time it takes for a user story or task to move from the "To Do" column to the "Done" column on the teams Kanban board. A shorter cycle time indicates faster delivery.
    • Monitor the sprint burndown chart to visualize the progress of work throughout the sprint. A smooth and steady burndown can indicate effective planning and execution.
    • Collect feedback from stakeholders during Sprint Reviews. Positive feedback and stakeholder satisfaction can be indicative of successful product increments.
    • Track the completion of action items identified during Sprint Retrospectives. A high completion rate indicates a commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Measure the time it takes to resolve impediments. A shorter resolution time indicates the ability to quickly address issues that may hinder progress.
    • Measure the time it takes from the initiation of a new feature or user story until its completion. Reduced lead time indicates faster time-to-market.
    • Compare the actual completed work in a sprint to the planned work. Deviations may indicate challenges in estimation or planning.
    • Track how often the team can release new features or product increments. Frequent releases can demonstrate agility in responding to customer needs.
    • Measure the adoption of agile practices across the organization

    Key Objectives;

    • Provide coaching and mentorship to Scrum Teams, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding and effective implementation of agile principles and practices.
    • Facilitate Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring they are conducted effectively and efficiently.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team and the organization. Identify opportunities for enhancement and implement changes based on retrospectives and feedback.
    • Identify and address impediments that hinder the teams progress. Collaborate with other teams or stakeholders to remove organizational obstacles.
    • Foster a self-organizing and empowered team culture. Help the team take ownership of their work, make decisions, and continuously improve their processes.
    • Ensure transparent and effective communication between the development team and stakeholders. Keep stakeholders informed about progress, changes, and any impediments.
    • Track and report key agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time. Use these metrics to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Identify and manage risks that may impact the successful delivery of the product. Work with the team and stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies.
    • Actively promote and reinforce the agile mindset within the organization. Encourage a culture of collaboration, adaptability, and customer focus.
    • Ensure that relevant documentation, such as release plans, sprint goals, and retrospective findings, is maintained. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and across teams.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members and stakeholders on agile principles, Scrum practices, and related topics.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or related field. Any of the following: SAFe, CSM, A-CSM, PSM, etc. will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 3 years and above cognate experience in the software technology industry.

    Recruitment Consultant (Agency)

    Job Objective:

    The role will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, encompassing the identification of hiring needs, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection. S/he will solely be responsible for the execution of all recruitment assignments from both clients and the lead consultant.

    KPIs;

    • Present candidates meeting the qualifications, experience, cultural fit, etc. criteria for each search mandate or assignment.
    • Ensure proper evaluation of the recommended candidates to achieve the best quality fit or hire.
    • Consistently meet the timeline for shortlisting and complete search assignments.
    • Ensure the highest level of candidate experience is attained through your interaction.
    • Provide relevant reporting and updates on each assignment.
    • Relationship management experience with different stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Full-cycle recruitment for all levels of positions, including sourcing, attracting, and evaluation.
    • Build a deep understanding of your tech/marketing domain and use that market knowledge to advise and educate the business on the best approach when sourcing.
    • Develop and maintain an understanding of the varying recruitment needs across the assigned organization, including gaining a strong sense of knowledge of the function of each department, existing and forecasted positions, and the skills required in applicants to perform each job effectively.
    • Utilize Applicant Tracking System to identify suitable candidates for client vacancies.
    • Advertise vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing ads across all defined channels (e.g. company job portals, relevant job boards, industry websites, social media, etc.).
    • Identify and cold-call quality candidates.
    • Prepare CVs, candidate summaries, and correspondence to forward to the client or hiring managers.
    • Monitor the progress of recruitment for each position, ensuring recruitment activities remain timely and effective.
    • Build and develop a robust talent pipeline for different skillsets.

    Key Requirements

    • Good first-degree in Social Sciences or any relevant field of study
    • 2-3 years cognate experience from a Recruitment Agency.
    • CIPM or any HR professional certificate will be an added advantage.
    • Must have a strong flair for talent sourcing and research.Must be highly digital savvy.
    • Experience handling mid-senior management searches.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Commitment to delivering the highest quality recruitment solutions.
    • Natural ability to connect and build relationships with people.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
