    Showroom Manager

    CLIENT: Miele Nigeria

    JOB SUMMARY
    Responsible for controlling the ambience of the showroom, creating a great customer experience and driving traffic to the showroom in line with the brand strategy.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    Ambience

    • Maintains the overall look and feel of the showroom in line with the Company’s brand requirements;
    • In charge of visual merchandising and ensures that products are strategically positioned to reflect Company’s brand strategy;
    • Ensures that the showroom is clean and tidy at all times;
    • Ensures the security guards are compliant with the dressing  requirements of the company for all weather;
    • Ensures security are properly positioned and stationed to welcome customers into the gallery;
    • Checks that the Chefs and Sous chefs are at their stations at all times.

    Customer Service

    • Ensures guests and customers feel welcome - from the security post to the store;
    • Positioned to meet and greet customers once the doors open;
    • Offers beverage to customers once the tour of the gallery begins;
    • Takes customers on a tour of the gallery while trying to understand customer’s needs;
    • Delivers accurate product presentation to clients;
    • Conducts research on competitors to  develop new and creative ways of driving traffic to the gallery;
    • Provides expert information on products to enhance relationship with customers and increase loyalty;
    • Delivers excellent customer service and promotes a luxury brand experience;
    • Identifies potential customers and invite them for demonstration sessions – cooking class, laundry etc;
    • Identifies, analyses and resolves customer complaints and issues;
    • Captures customer data for all walk ins and manages client database;
    • Sends follow up email to customer within 24 hours of visit;
    • Sends out emails and newsletters regarding Company’s products and events to customers on database;
    • Event Management – Project Based
    • Handles all event briefs and ensures that projects are managed effectively;
    • Coordinates with Sales and Brand Manager in planning and coordinating events in the gallery;
    • Responsible for welcoming persons attending event and taking them on a tour of the gallery;
    • Ensures beverages are served to all attendees while touring the gallery;
    • Ensures that processes and procedures for events are strictly adhered to.

    EDUCATION:
    BSc in any field from a reputable university.

    WORK EXPERIENCE:   Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in related field

    Architect

    CLIENT: Miele Nigeria

    JOB SUMMARY
    Ensures that the Miele product display is in line with brand’s visual standards. Performs all phases of architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction. Ensures client’s needs are met and produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Supervises project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design are implemented;
    • Develops ideas keeping in mind client’s needs;
    • Visits site to check on project status and report on project;
    • Follows architectural trends and advancements;
    • Generates 2D and 3D drawings when required;
    • Prepares drawings as it might be required on sites during installation;
    • Handles the internal structural drawing needs of the Company.

    EDUCATION:
    B.Sc Architecture or related field from a reputable university, M.Sc in related field would be an added advantage;

    WORK EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum of 3 years of architectural working experience.

    Technical Service Supervisor

    OVERVIEW OF JOB
    Responsible for customer interface, supervising and directing technicians in preparing and installing appliances. Supervising maintenance on all appliances and employing electrical tools to carry out jobs on behalf of Miele Nigeria.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversees strategic customer relationship management;
    • Comprehends customer requirements and makes appropriate recommendations;
    • Provides technical support and maintenance services for end services;
    • Reviews project requirements and specifications and assigns tasks to technicians;
    • Handles installations, supervises installations, troubleshooting and overhauling of household appliances;
    • Ensures faults are reported promptly and repairs are carried out;
    • Ensures service forms are documented accordingly;
    • Approves the generation of invoices for repairs;
    • Repairs of appliances and maintains minimum disbursal for parts;
    • Manages test runs on site and documentation of all appliances;
    • Maintains health and safety by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations;
    • Conducts functional test on appliances;
    • Manages the assets in the technical office.

    WORK EXPERIENCE
    Minimum of 5 years extensive hands on work experience as a Technician with a minimum of 2 years in supervisory role.
