    Specialist, Business Intelligence

    Job Summary

    • Gather and process consumer data for input into EMTS's overall business plan.  

    Principal Functions
    Operational:

    • Gather and analyse consumer data along but not limited to the following parameters:
      • Minutes of Use (MOU)
      • Line activation
      • Recharge trends/statistics
      • Customer churn
      • Average call duration
      • Call destinations etc.
    • Develop periodic business intelligence reports based on information analysed and circulate to relevant commercial units.
    • Gather relevant statistics on promotions and new product usage; develop preliminary performance reports and forward to the Manager, Business Intelligence for additional input.
    • Liaise with IT to ensure optimal functionality of all Enterprise Warehouse tools required for data collation and reporting.
    • Develop and maintain an up-to-date database of all consumer information on EMTS's network.
    • Liaise with relevant units/teams/functions in carrying out all relevant activities.
    • Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
    • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Manager, Business Intelligence.
    • Build predicative modelling on Subscriber profiling, Segmentation, forecasting, market based affinity, churn management
    • Liaise with Product and Information Department to ensure all launched products are properly developed and implemented to ease BI reporting.
    • Creation and monitoring of Commercial Dashboards for C-Level Executives and various department using SAP Xcelsius and Information Design Tool (IDT)
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Business Intelligence.

    Educational Requirements

    • First Degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
    • Three (3) to five (5) years post NYSC relevant work experience.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint presentation skill.
    • Advance knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

    Specialist, Consumer Analytics & Insight

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for analysis, profiling, and modelling activity in the areas of propensity and segmentation to increase understanding of the customer behaviour pattern and providing actionable insights in developing strategies that will increase the customer lifetime value on the network.

    Principal Functions

    • Analyze micro profiles of all market segments, design models using customer profile attributes, and develop multiple scenarios  to illustrate behaviour patterns in creating targeting and positioning campaign strategies.
    • Develop sensitivity and business models that support direct to consumer marketing programs and maximize execution efficiencies.
    • Conducts analyses with a focus on experimental design, assessment, execution, measurement of current programs, evaluation of proposed programs, behavioural analysis, datamining, customer segmentation, predictive modelling, performance management, and other relevant statistical analyses.
    • Analysis and data interpretation in support of direct marketing strategy development, program implementation and evaluation/back-end analysis.
    • Summarizing analytic findings and integrating with non-traditional data sources (research findings, media surveys, customer behaviours, etc.), when appropriate to enhance campaign development initiatives.

    Educational Requirements

    Specialist, Customer Value Management

    Job Summary

    • Develop and measure customer retention and life cycle management, programmes and campaigns through the outbound and inbound channels to reduce churn and increase usage across all the products and services.

    Principal Functions

    • Participate in the development, implementation and measurement pro-active and re-active retention programmes to attain and exceed churn targets.
    • Monitor customers' movements daily across various services/products and propose a proactive usage enhancement campaign aimed at addressing any noticeable decline in various product baskets.
    • Constantly evaluate churn metrics to immediately implement remedies and improve on campaign business rules when necessary.
    • Develop other customer lifecycle programmes including win-back and loyalty programmes while maximizing the outbound and inbound channels.
    • Anticipate and identify customer needs and dissatisfaction issues in order to aid pro-active customer engagement
    • Analyse outbound/inbound campaign results and propose recommendations to the business base on campaign performance and evaluation ;

    • Analyse the campaign results and understand the impact on customer behaviour and ROI, with a view to utilizing outputs to refine the next round of campaigns for the specific channels
    • Manage campaign and capability limitations, initiating projects and actions to minimize the impact on campaign deployment and scale
    • Translate the customer value management roadmap into campaign briefs and designs for specific retail channels.

    Educational Requirements

    • First Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
    • Minimum of Four (4) years post NYSC work experience.
    • There is an essential requirement for data analysis and critical thinking skills
    • A Post-graduate qualification would be advantageous.
    • Experience of a combination of the following: Direct Marketing/Customer Value Management, with Customer Data analysis and management reporting (essential)
    • Project Management experience will bean added advantage.
    • Experience in campaign development and execution lifecycle.

    Manager, Mechanical & Electrical

    Job Summary

    • Manage all network operations and maintenance activities of the Data Centre, including capacity monitoring and supervision of all network element installations.

    Principal Functions

    • Ensure AC DC power and cooling availability target 99.8% in Data Centres /MGW sites
    • Ensure DC power and cooling availability target 100% in Data Centres /MGW sites
    • Ensure strict compliance of change request execution, oversee all routine and corrective maintenance for power and cooling systems, spare parts management and inventory, space management, equipment records and performance data.
    • Ensure all operation/implementation activities in the Data Centres are executed in a professional manner and incompliance with the approved changes.
    • Monitor and control network element capacity utilisation and always ensure that utilisation level does not exceed industry standard.

    • Ensure all installed equipment in the Data Centre is maintained in accordance with the outlined maintenance schedules and procedures and keep comprehensive maintenance history of all equipment.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with switch implementation vendors as well as coordinate maintenance activities between the vendors and internal stakeholders in terms of planning, scheduling and database management.
    • Ensure compliance with the organization's quality policy on all core network O & M and identify areas where the quality policy needs improvement for escalation to the quality assurance unit for appropriate action.
    • Carry out other tasks as directed by the Head, Field Operation

    Engineer, Fibre Infrastructure

    Job Summary

    • Assist in the planning, implementation, and operations of EMTS Nigeria Core Transport (National & Metro fibre/DWDM) network infrastructure and architecture for various services.

    Principal Functions

    • Support the deployment of the fibre network technology (SDH, DWDM, OTN, OADM and IP) for the national backbone transmission.
    • Support the optic network planning for the metropolitan ring , last mile fibre network design and enterprise fibre connectivity.

    Senior Engineer, Circuit Switch Core

    Job Summary

    • Support all CS core network operation and maintenance activities to ensure required availability.
