    Product Partnership Lead

    Job Description

    • At Mono, we are on a mission to power the future of open finance across Africa by building reliable, secure, and easy-to-integrate APIs. We are looking for a Product Partnership Lead to join our team and help us grow through strategic collaborations with banks, global platforms, and fintech enablers.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for leading and owning high-impact external partnerships. You will work closely with major financial institutions and distribution platforms, while aligning with internal teams to deliver scalable solutions. If you have a strong grasp of the embedded fintech ecosystem and know how to drive partnerships from idea to execution, we would love to meet you.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Lead, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with key players (e.g., with banks, Mastercard, international enablers, distribution platforms)
    • Drive alignment on commercial and technical terms that unlock growth opportunities
    • Define and execute joint go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Product, Legal, and Sales teams
    • Build and manage long-term relationships with partners, serving as their trusted contact at Mono
    • Create and maintain a scalable play-book for onboarding and co-selling with new partners

    Requirements

    • A strong understanding of the API and embedded fintech landscape
    • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
    • A structured and strategic approach to problem-solving, with experience driving complex deals from start to finish
    • Experience working on cross-border or regulated partnerships is a plus

    Sales Associate

    Job Description

    • At Mono, we are building the future of open finance across Africa by helping businesses access and move financial data in real-time. We are looking for a Sales Associate to help us grow by generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals for some of our most important products, including GSI, Mono Direct Debit, and Mono Connect.
    • This role is perfect for someone who is driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. You will be responsible for sourcing new business, managing early-stage deals, running demos, and helping us build a healthy, scalable sales pipeline. If you are passionate about sales, love taking ownership, and are excited about the fintech space in Africa, we would love to hear from you.

    What You Will Be Doing

    • Source and qualify new leads through outbound outreach and inbound channels
    • Manage and close deals with low-to-mid ticket customers
    • Support the sales team with pipeline documentation, reporting, and CRM management
    • Run product demos and follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel
    • Maintain clean and accurate records of leads, deals, and communications in our CRM

    Requirements

    We Are Looking for Someone Who;

    • Is ambitious and results-driven.
    • Communicates with clarity and confidence, especially during prospecting and sales calls.
    • Follows through with leads and doesn’t drop the ball.
    • Works well independently and can manage a fast-moving pipeline.
    • Is detail-oriented and disciplined with CRM hygiene and reporting.
    • Has 1–3 years experience in a sales or customer-facing role (preferred, but not required).
    • Maintain clean and accurate records of leads, deals, and communications in our CRM.
