    Professor (Community Medicine)

    Requirements

    • A Ph.D. Degree holder or its equivalent in the area of specialization with a minimum of nine (9) years in teaching experience at University level.
    • The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) points of PG students supervised.
    • Academic Librarians shall participate in postgraduate teaching and supervision in the Department of Library Science.
    • Considerable background of research with a minimum of admissible publications totaling not less than seventy-five (75) points.
    • Must score five (5) points in Academic Leadership / Administrative Responsibilities.
    • Must score three (3) points in Community Service.
    • Must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies.
    • Must score forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal.

    Requirements

    • A Ph.D. Degree holder or its equivalent in the area of specialization who has been Lecturer II for three (3) years in addition to admissible publications totaling not less than Twenty-five (25) points and forty-five (45) points in Job Appraisal. Minimum number of publication not less than five (5).
    • Ph.D. holder in Medicine or Fellowship in Medicine and registered with MDCN or Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN).
    • A Master's Degree holder who has been Lecturer II for three years in addition to admissible publications totaling not less than Thirty (30) points, Citation not less than five (5) and Forty-Five (45) points in Job Appraisal.
    • Candidate must be an up-to-date member of professional body/bodies with. minimum number of publications not less than six (6).
    • Must score two (2) points in Academic Leadership / Administrative Responsibility
    • Must be visible on Google Scholar or Research Gate with citation not less than 5.
    • A successful applicant coming to take up teaching appointment in the University for the first time can enter at not more than the rank of Lecturer I.
