    Optometrist

    • Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Optometrist to join our eye care team. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality vision and eye health services, and we are looking for a professional passionate about providing accurate eye examinations, vision correction, and contributing to excellent patient outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and overall ocular health.
    • Diagnose common vision problems (such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, presbyopia) and detect signs of eye diseases or conditions (e.g., glaucoma, cataracts, or diabetic retinopathy).
    • Prescribe corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses) and provide advice on lens options and frame selection.
    • Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to evaluate eye function, visual fields, intraocular pressure, and binocular vision.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in optometry (experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an advantage).

    Dialysis Nurse

    • Clinix Healthcare is seeking a competent, compassionate, and experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our renal care team at our Awka facility. We are dedicated to providing life-sustaining hemodialysis services with the highest standards of patient safety, infection control, and personalized care. We are looking for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about supporting patients with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease through expert dialysis care.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare, operate, and monitor hemodialysis machines and related equipment during dialysis sessions.
    • Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including vital signs, vascular access condition, weight, and overall clinical status.
    • Administer prescribed medications, anticoagulants, and fluids as per physician orders during dialysis.
    • Cannulate and decannulate arteriovenous fistulas, grafts, and central venous catheters using aseptic techniques.
    • Monitor for and promptly respond to dialysis-related complications such as hypotension, cramps, clotting, air embolism, or dialyzer reactions.
    • Educate patients and families on renal disease management, dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, fluid control, and vascular access care.

    Requirements & Skills

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct a comprehensive range of laboratory investigations in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, parasitology, immunology, serology, coagulation, and urinalysis.
    • Receive, process, and analyze various clinical specimens (blood, urine, body fluids, swabs, tissues, etc.) using both manual and automated techniques.
    • Operate, calibrate, maintain, and perform daily/periodic quality control on laboratory analyzers and equipment.
    • Interpret test results, verify abnormal findings, and escalate critical values to clinicians in a timely manner.
    • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control protocols, biohazard waste management, and laboratory safety standards.
